Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah ada pengaruh upah, modal, dan nilai produksi terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja pada UKM yang memproduksi aneka kerupuk sanjai di Kabupaten 50 Kota, serta untuk menganalisis variabel manakah yang paling dominan pengaruhnya terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei, dimana pengumpulan informasi dilakukan pada sebagian populasi. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang didapatkan melalui wawancara langsung dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada responden yaitu pemilik UKM kerupuk sanjai di Kabupaten 50 Kota. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi terkait seperti Badan Pusat statistik dan Dinas Perindustrian Perdagangan dan koperasi Kabupaten 50 Kota. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi meliputi uji normalitas, uji asumsi klasik, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat (penyerapan tenaga kerja). Modal kerja merupakan variabel yang paling besar pengaruhnya dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja pada UKM kerupuk sanjai di Kabupaten 50 Kota.

Labor is a very important asset in economic activities, but often the number of workers exceeds the available employment capacity, so it is very necessary to analyze the factors that affect employment. This study aims to estimate the relationship between wage, capital, production value to the amount of employment in Kerupuk Sanjai Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota This type of research is field research and use questioner to 100 respondens . The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis with OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method and data processing using SPSS VR.21 software. The results of the study show that all independent variabels has a significant effect on labor absorption in Kerupuk Sanjai SMEs in Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota. capital is the variable that has the most influence in the absorption of labor in the Kerupuk Sanjai Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of mitigating the economic vulnerability of the community through the allocation of social assistance during the Covid-19 pandemic in Payakumbuh City. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Collecting data in the form of observation, documentation and interviews with a sample size of 100 respondents. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the analysis show 1) the input aspect with an effectiveness ratio of 60% and 65% can be said to be quite effective, meaning that KPM is right on target and utilizes social assistance appropriately for the economic benefit of the community in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak. 2)which consists of socialization and monitoring, each with an effectiveness ratio of 100%. 3) the output aspect of social welfare with an indicator of the level of fulfillment of needs where the percentage obtained is 74% in the category of economic welfare which is quite effective.

This activity has been held at Nagari Pauah Duo Nan Batigo for 40 days on 29th June until 8th August 2018. Many activities has been carried out together by students college and the comunity of Nagari Pauah Duo Nan Batigo, which was Rubela activity (Learning house). This paper aims to describe the activity program carried out by Pauah Duo Nan Batigo KKN students namely the Rubela activity ( Learning house). This activity was motivated by the students lack of understanding about the importance of education so that the students were less interested to continue their education to the higher level. The method used in the activity was the method of public education in the form of councelling and socialization. The activity was carried out four times per week with a delivery of material for several classes and the discussion of the excercises and homeworks with the students. All varies out activities got positive responses from the participants, public society, and comunity leaders. KKN program besides as a learning method for college students, it is also an effort of Andalas Universitiy to contibute in transforming the value of education to the public comunity.

The partner in this Community Partnership Program (PKM) Helping Businesses to Develop program is the Empat Saudara, owned by Rianto Saputra in Jorong Indobaleh Timur Kenagarian Mungo, Limapuluh Kota Regency. Currently, partners have significant problems in the aspects of production and marketing. The roasted peanut production process is traditionally done using an iron pan and sand by turning the beans using a wooden spoon. The quality and production capacity is limited. The purpose of this community engagement was to improve the product quality and production capacity of partners every day. The method provided education related to entrepreneurship training, such as production management, resource management, marketing and discussions about the problems partners face in running their business. It was followed by assisting production technology innovation using a 50 kg roaster machine at partner locations. This activity hopes to achieve a common goal, namely improving product quality and production volume, and ultimately raising the finances of the roasted peanut SMEs community.

The manufacturing industry has a large contribution to the Indonesian economy, employment, and empowerment of human resources. But the development of the manufacturing industry also has challenges, where there are still many industries that have low competitiveness. This paper analyzes competitiveness by using a measure of labor productivity. Using data from Large Industrial Companies Medium in 2009-2012, this study analyzes the relationship of trade liberalization seen from economic openness in the form of the flow of goods and capital into the manufacturing industry sector to its productivity. The results of the study showed an increase in productivity with trade liberalization, besides that FDI Spillover Effects also occurred in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia.

Tourism is a sector that contributes to the income of a region. Tourism activities not only have a positive impact on tourism objects, but this will be related to other sectors supporting tourism (accommodation, culinary and other service providers). One of the villages/villages that have started to develop tourism in West Sumatra is Nagari Sikabu-Kabu Tanjung Haro Padang Panjang (SITAPA), Luak District, Limapuluh Kota Regency which is famous for its natural attractions such as the natural panorama of Talang and Kayu Kolek. The development of this tourist attraction cannot be separated from the role of local tourism awareness groups (pokdarwis) and other interest groups. The purpose of this activity is to increase the capacity of tourism awareness groups in the field of tourism management in Nagari Sitapa by using the Community Based Tourism (CBT) approach and the target is given to the Tourism Awareness Group. With the implementation of CBT in tourism development, it is hoped that the community and other interested parties can continue to develop the tourism sector without changing the existing environmental conditions and ensuring that tourist objects remain natural without making many changes that will cause damage to the surrounding environment. Some strategies that can be implemented are to maximize natural potentials such as providing outbound and camping ground, as well as preparing supporting industries (MSMEs) to be able to provide edutourism to tourists.

Perubahan harga komoditas pangan merupakan penyumbang laju inflasi di Sumatera Barat. Inflasi di Provinsi Sumatera Barat mengalami fluktuasi . Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh fluktuasi perubahan harga bawang merah, beras, cabai merah, daging ayam, minyak goreng dan telur ayam terhadap inflasi di Sumatera Barat. Model analisis yang digunakan yaitu VAR/VECM (Vector Error Correction Model). Variabel yang digunakan adalah inflasi, harga bawang merah, beras, cabai merah,daging ayam dan telur ayam. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder mulai tahun 2018-2022 berupa data bulanan sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 59 pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa komoditas pangan mengalami fluktuasi setiap bulannya dan pada jangka pendek harga beras, cabai merah, daging ayam dan telur ayam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap inflasi sedangkan pada jangka panjang harga bawang merah, beras, daging ayam dan minyak goreng yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap inflasi. Komoditas yang dominan menjelaskan keragaman inflasi di Sumatera Barat adalah beras, cabai merah, dan daging ayam.
