Abstract

Research on entrepreneurship has been conducted, but studies linking entrepreneurship in the Merdeka Curriculum of the Merdeka Campus (MBKM) with self-leadership are still limited. Preliminary studies show that the level of self-leadership among students is still low, although this skill is important for success in entrepreneurship as well as in everyday life. This study aims to analyse the impact of MBKM's entrepreneurship programme on increasing students' self-leadership. Using quantitative methods with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), this study involved 152 students who participated in the MBKM independent entrepreneurship programme, with a sample of 115 students purposively selected. Data was collected using a questionnaire based on a 1-5 Likert scale. The results of the analysis show that the MBKM Entrepreneurship Programme has a significant effect on increasing students' self-leadership. Gender was not found to be a significant moderating variable, indicating that the programme is inclusive and provides equal benefits to men and women. This study suggests that the MBKM entrepreneurship programme can be an effective tool in developing students' self-leadership. The implication is that universities and study programmes are advised to integrate the MBKM Independent Entrepreneurship Programme into the curriculum to support the development of entrepreneurial potential, which is ultimately expected to enable graduates to create jobs and reduce the number of unemployed in Indonesia.

Abstract

Discussions about the risks and opportunities of youngsters accessing digital media need to take place in the current era of hyper-globalization. Prior studies suggest that enhancing teenagers' fundamental skills is the most effective approach to enhance internet possibilities and mitigate online risks. This project aims to assess computational thinking skills, critical thinking skills, and communication skills in relation to enhancing online possibilities and mitigating online risks. The second goal is to confirm the predicted characteristics that impact students' online danger and online opportunity through the PLS-SEM analytic method. 356 students participated in the survey. The research confirms that critical thinking and communication abilities can decrease online danger, however computational thinking skills do not impact online risk. The research findings successfully predicted that computational thinking skills, critical thinking skills, and communication skills positively impacted online opportunities. Students can mitigate online dangers when accessing digital media by employing critical thinking and communication skills, as indicated by the findings of this research. Students must enhance their fundamental skills including computational thinking, critical thinking, and communication to maximise online prospects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of transformational leadership and learning climate on knowledge absorption and socio-economic service quality in the Catholic Church, considering the role of proactive personality as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was used with the PLS-SEM analysis technique and involved 79 Catholic respondents in Surakarta City. The research instrument was adapted from previous research and has been proven valid and reliable. The analysis results showed that all direct and indirect relationships between variables were statistically significant. Transformational leadership was shown to have both direct and indirect effects on increasing knowledge uptake and service quality. In addition, learning climate and proactive personality act as mediators that strengthen these paths of influence. Knowledge absorption is the most dominant factor in determining service quality. The findings strengthen the relevance of social learning theory in the context of religious organisations, and confirm the importance of leadership and learning culture in supporting more adaptive and socially impactful church ministries.
