Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya motivasi dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Namun, kenyataannya motivasi belajar peserta didik cenderung mengalami penurunan, sehingga menghambat dalam pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Salah satu faktor rendahnya motivasi belajar yaitu ketidakhadiran media pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva diterapkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pre-Eksperimental One Group Pretest Posttest. Teknik penggambilan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia berlangsung dengan sangat baik, motivasi belajar setelah diterapkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva sebesar 92% dengan kriteria sangat baik, hasil pengolahan data dengan menggunakan uji t memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,5 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Selain itu, hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan rata-rata 0,8858 dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil uji t dan uji N-Gain menegaskan bahwa penerapan media Canva memberikan dampak positif yang tinggi terhadap peningkatan motivasi peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the Nusantara Module course on the attitude of religious moderation in PAI students at Garut University. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection and processing techniques by means of data triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of the Nusantara Module in the Independent Student Exchange Program was effective in shaping attitudes of religious moderation. In this course, students interact directly with each other who have different religious, cultural, racial and linguistic backgrounds in participating in module activities in the form of diversity, reflection, inspiration and social contribution. This module develops several main indicators, such as national commitment, tolerance, non-violence, and an accommodating attitude towards cultural values. Changes in student attitudes not only reflect a deeper insight into cultural diversity in Indonesia, but also contribute to strengthening moderation values among the community. These findings are expected to be the basis for curriculum design that is more inclusive and responsive to the social and religious dynamics in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of differentiated instruction on students’ learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMAN 19 Garut. The empirical gap identified is the lack of diverse teaching methods in PAI, which affects student engagement and motivation, especially in understanding abstract concepts. This study aims to analyze the impact of differentiated instruction by adjusting teaching strategies based on students’ readiness, interests, and learning styles. A quantitative descriptive method with simple linear regression was applied, collecting data through a Likert-scale questionnaire with high validity and reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha: 0.945 for differentiated instruction and 0.941 for motivation). The findings indicate a significant positive effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.633 (p < 0.001) and an R² value of 35.8%, demonstrating that this method substantially enhances students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. This research contributes practical insights for educators to implement adaptive teaching strategies, particularly in abstract subjects like PAI, through group discussions, project-based learning, and multimedia integration. The study also supports the Merdeka Curriculum framework in fostering more engaging and student-centered learning environments

Abstract

Cooperation character is an important value that should be possessed by every citizen, especially children at the elementary school level. Character is not formed instantly, but through a continuous learning process. One effort to instill character values can be carried out through contextual activities, such as traditional games in the school environment. This study aims to examine the planning, implementation, as well as the obstacles and solutions in using the Gobak Sodor game as a learning medium to foster the character of cooperation in the Pancasila Education subject. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants consist of the Principal, Vice Principal for Curriculum, Fourth Grade Homeroom Teacher, Physical Education Teacher, and fourth-grade students. Data analysis in this study was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results show that the Gobak Sodor game is effective in developing students' cooperation character. This game is integrated into the learning module through group activities and reflection on the values of cooperation. The obstacles encountered include limited time, weather conditions, and challenges in maintaining discipline and sportsmanship, which were overcome through guidance, time management, and adjustment of the activity location. Overall, this traditional game creates an active, collaborative, and enjoyable learning atmosphere and serves as a contextual learning medium that shapes students' character.

Abstract

  This study aims to examine three aspects: (1) the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model in Islamic Education (PAI), (2) students’ learning outcomes before the implementation of the CIRC learning model, and (3) the improvement of students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of the CIRC learning model. This study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects were 19 eighth-grade students at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah. Data were collected through observation and learning outcome tests in the form of pretests and posttests. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, with 17 items declared valid and a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.842, indicating high reliability. The results showed that the implementation of the CIRC learning model was very effective, as indicated by the observation results of teacher and student activities, which obtained a total score of 80 and were categorized as very good. The average pretest score was 65.00, which increased significantly to 93.16 in the posttest. The normality test results showed significance values of 0.561 for the pretest and 0.412 for the posttest (> 0.05), indicating that the data were normally distributed. The homogeneity test showed a significance value of 0.395 (> 0.05), indicating homogeneous data. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. Furthermore, the N-Gain value was 0.80 or 80%, which falls into the high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the CIRC learning model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Education.
