Abstract

Poetry writing is an essential skill taught in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level. This activity not only helps students develop creativity but also trains their ability to express ideas and emotions through aesthetic language. However, differences in students' abilities, interests, and learning styles pose challenges in the learning process. To address these challenges, the differentiation model offers an adaptive approach by tailoring learning to meet individual students' needs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the differentiation model in poetry writing instruction through a literature review method. The findings indicate that the differentiation model, which involves adjustments in content, process, product, and learning environment, effectively enhances students’ motivation, creativity, and comprehension. Therefore, this approach can serve as a relevant strategy to support the success of poetry writing instruction at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Kompetensi sosial dan kepribadian merupakan dua aspek krusial yang memengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Guru tidak hanya dituntut menguasai materi dan strategi pembelajaran, tetapi juga membangun hubungan harmonis dengan siswa, rekan kerja, serta masyarakat, serta menunjukkan karakter yang baik sebagai panutan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara kritis literatur terkini mengenai kompetensi sosial dan kepribadian guru sekolah dasar serta dampaknya terhadap kualitas pembelajaran. Melalui tinjauan literatur terhadap 20 artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional, ditemukan bahwa banyak guru belum menunjukkan kompetensi sosial dan kepribadian yang optimal. Faktor penghambat yang teridentifikasi meliputi kurangnya pelatihan karakter, beban kerja yang tinggi, serta lemahnya pengawasan dan pembinaan. Hasil studi ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan aspek non-akademik dalam pengembangan profesional guru. Pengembangan kompetensi sosial dan kepribadian menjadi salah satu elemen kunci dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, interaktif, dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya desain program pelatihan guru yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan, yang tidak hanya menekankan pada kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter dan kemampuan interpersonal. Dengan demikian, diharapkan guru mampu menjadi teladan yang efektif sekaligus agen perubahan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dasar. Implikasi dari studi ini juga dapat dijadikan dasar bagi pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang lebih holistic.

Abstract

Quantitative research requires accurate statistical analysis to ensure that the results obtained are valid and scientifically accountable. One important stage in statistical analysis is assumption testing, particularly normality and homogeneity tests, which are prerequisites for the use of parametric statistical methods. This article aims to discuss the concepts, roles, and applications of normality and homogeneity tests in statistical analysis. The research method used is qualitative research with a li brary research approach through the study of statistical textbooks and relevant national and international journal articles. The results of the discussion show that the normality test plays a role in ensuring that the data distribution approximates a normal distribution, while the homogeneity test is used to ensure the uniformity of variance between data groups. Fulfilling these two assumptions allows researchers to use parametric statistical techniques appropriately and reduce the risk of bias in the analysis. Thus, a good understanding of normality and homogeneity tests is very important to improve the quality of data analysis and the accuracy of research conclusions.
