Abstract

This article analyzes the dynamics of technical-tactical actions (TTA) performed during official matches by teams composed of skilled football players. Ongoing pedagogical observations were conducted on the players of teams participating in the Uzbekistan National Football Championship's top league during the 2023-2024 seasons. The research involved 42 football players from two teams competing in the country’s top league during the 2023 and 2024 championships. The average indicators of technical-tactical actions performed by the “Sogdiana” and “Olmaliq” teams during the matches at the beginning, middle, and end of the championship were identified and analyzed. The recorded indicators suggest that both the volume of TTAs and the movement across the field among players participating in the Uzbekistan National Championship are significantly lower compared to those of foreign players, highlighting a primarily “weak” development of their general and specific work capacity. However, in the official matches held in the middle and at the end of the championship, players of the “Olmaliq” team who regularly performed experimental relaxation exercises throughout the year showed progressive increases in the volume and efficiency of TTAs as well as in their physical and functional capacity levels.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the team teaching strategy on improving students’ offensive basketball skills. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 40 students randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group, which was taught using the team teaching strategy, and the control group, which was taught using conventional methods. The research instrument included tests on offensive basketball skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, and lay-up. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests and independent sample t-tests, assisted by SPSS software. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group’s performance compared to the control group. These findings indicate that the team teaching strategy is effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes in basketball, especially in developing offensive skills. The collaborative approach between teachers allowed for more engaging, student-centered, and dynamic learning experiences. This study contributes to the field of physical education by offering an evidence-based teaching model that can be applied in practical classroom settings. Moreover, the findings provide valuable insights for educators, curriculum developers, and future researchers who aim to design and implement innovative, cooperative learning strategies to improve sports instruction in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of the gradual activities’ strategy on students’ performance of certain offensive handball skills as well as whether the experimental and control groups’ effects on students’ performance of these skills are superior in the post-test. By creating two identical groups (experimental and control) with pre- and post-tests, the researcher employed the experimental technique to fit the nature of the research problem. For the 2023–2024 academic year, 90 second-year students from the University of Karbala’s College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences were part of the research community. A total of 40 students were chosen for the study and split into two groups: an experimental group and a control group, each with 20 students. The statistical package (SPSS) was used to statistically process the data for the variables being studied. Using educational units based on the gradual activities’ strategy has a significant impact on students’ development of the complex offensive skills under study and their motivation to perform some of the more difficult offensive skills in handball, according to one of the researcher’s most significant findings. Using educational units in accordance with the gradual activities’ strategy, which greatly aided students in developing the complex offensive skills under study, and the necessity of implementing contemporary study techniques because they improve learning levels were the researcher’s two most important recommendations.
