Abstract

Rendahnya angka kunjungan ke Posyandu Cempaka menunjukkan perlunya strategi baru dalam penyebaran informasi kesehatan. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan kader posyandu melalui pelatihan penggunaan media sosial dan aplikasi Canva sebagai media promosi digital. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup observasi, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan teknis, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan mencakup pembuatan akun media sosial (Facebook dan Instagram), desain poster, dan pengelolaan konten digital. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan kader dalam menyampaikan informasi, serta peningkatan angka D/S dari 34% menjadi 36% setelah pelatihan. Meski peningkatan belum signifikan tetapi hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya dampak positif penggunaan media digital terhadap kesadaran masyarakat. Program ini memberikan solusi inovatif terhadap tantangan dalam jumlah kunjungan ke posyandu dan menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kader dalam promosi kesehatan berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Objective : The goal of this program is toincrease public knowledge and awareness about the dangers of smoking to one's own health and the health of the family, thereby preventing the occurrence of chronic diseases. Research Methods/ Implementation Methods : This program uses an extension method in the form of delivering material using PowerPoint, with the reading of pre-test questions (before the material) and post-test questions (after the material) to the community in Argomulyo Village. Results : The results of the PreTest and PostTest show an increase in knowledge after the counseling. Conclusion/Lesson Learned : This program can enhance the knowledge and awareness of both active and passive smokers regarding the impacts of smoking and the dangers of smoking indoors, so that smokers can make better decisions to quit smoking and create a healthier environment for themselves and those around them. Thus, this program contributes to efforts to maintain public health and reduce the risk of diseases caused by exposure to cigarette smoke.

Abstract

Background : Nutritional status measured using the IMT indicator (can be undernourished, normal, or overnourished) is a health condition that is influenced by the balance of nutrients in the body, where this condition can be influenced by a person's socioeconomic status which includes pocket money, family income, number of families, and expenditure on food. Objective : The aim is to determine the relationship between socioeconomic status and the nutritional status of students in the Class of 2022 at the Faculty of Public Health, Mulawarman University, Samarinda. Research Methods/ Implementation Methods : This research was conducted from October 28 to November 1, 2024, at the Anthropometry Laboratory, Faculty of Public Health, Mulawarman University. The target of this study were 60 students of class 2022 from the Faculty of Public Health, Mulawarman University. The research design used is a Cross-Sectional design with a quantitative approach. Results : From the Asymptotic Significance (2-sided) value obtained, there is no relationship between pocket money and the nutritional status of students (p=0.252). There is no relationship between family income and the nutritional status of students (p=0.720). There is no relationship between number of families and the nutritional status of students (p=0.620). There is no relationship between food expenditure and the nutritional status of students (p=0.125). Conclusion/Lesson Learned : There is no relationship between socioeconomic status, namely pocket money, family income, number of families, and expenditure on food on the nutritional status of 2022 students of the Faculty of Public Health, Mulawarman University.
