Abstract

EFL (English as a Foreign Language) students of vocational high schools are requested to have skillful reading strategies to comprehend specific texts in English. To have a good comprehension, they utilize not only their strategies but also interesting and suitable texts. Therefore, this current study investigated the correlation between students’ perception of the authentic materials and cooperative learning strategy towards students’ reading comprehension. The data of the reading comprehension tests and the students’ perception were analyzed using the multiple regression. The result revealed that (1) there was positive correlation between students’ perception of the authentic materials and students reading comprehension, (2) there was significant positive effect of cooperative learning strategy towards reading comprehension, and (3) there was significant positive effect of reading materials towards cooperative learning strategy. These findings suggested that the choice of authentic materials could motivate students to comprehend ESP texts. Besides this, by doing cooperative learning strategy, the scaffolding could happen so that they could share their comprehension. In spite of its limitation, this study could have certain pedagogical implications to reading classroom activities.

Abstract

Laparatomy is one of the operation procedure that perform in the abdominal  area. That procedure sometimes will cause increasing patients anxiety and disturbance of patient’s sleep quality. The researched purpose is to know the dominance factor that influence sleep quality of patient post laparatomy at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. This research was a survey with cross sectional approach. The sampling method used was accidental sampling and was got 25 patents. Analysed use d was univariat, bivariat and multivariate with logistic regression. Chi Square statistic test of physiologic factor at X²=4,001 and p=0,045 (<0,05) so there is a correlation between physiologic factor and sleep quality of patient with post laparatomy at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Odd Ratio value has 0,983 or 98,3%. Chi Square statistic test of psychology factor has X²=14,005 and p=0,000 (<0,05) so there is a correlation between psychology factor and sleep quality of patient with post laparatomy in PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Odd Ratio value at 0,717 or 71,7%. Chi Square statistic test of environmental factor has X²=6,177 and p=0,013 (<0,05) so there is a correlation between environmental factor and sleep quality of patient with post laparatomy in PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Odd Ratio value at 0,089 or 8,9%. The Biggest Odd Ratio is physiologic factor  with value at 0,983 or 98,3% it mean that physiologic factor has influenced sleep quality of patient with post lapratomy in PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. There is a correlation between physiology, psychology and environment factors with sleep quality of patient post laparatomy in PKU Muhammdiyah Gombong Hospital and dominance factor to influence sleep quality of patient post laparatromy in PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital is physiology   Keywords: Sleep quality, post laparatomy.

Abstract

Majority of spinal cord tumour is a benign tumour with symptoms are due to spinal cord compression. One of the symptoms that are often difficult to treat is a sensory deficit. The authors report a case of primary intradural extramedullar spinal cord tumour in 57-year-old man. This tumour was presenting symptoms of chronic low back pain, gradual progressive inferior paraplegia, and sensory deficit on both legs. MRI thoracal showed intradural lesion at Th 4-5-6, with isointensity on T1-weighted images and hyperintensity-isohomogen on T2-weighted images. The tumour was completely resected, and histopathology examination revealed schwannoma types. Patient showed a clinical improvement in motoric function noticeable after surgery, but showed sensory deficits sequelae requiring therapy for neuropathic pain.

Abstract

Research on the performance of workers based on the determination of standard working hours for absences conducted by workers in a certain period. In disciplinary supervision, workers are expected to be able to provide the best performance in the implementation of work in accordance with predetermined working hours. The measurement of the level of discipline of admission hours for placement workers is carried out every working day, continuously and continuously. Attendance monitoring already uses online attendance by using data downloaded from the online attendance provider as the main data. In addition, data collection is done by filtering employee absentee data and supporting information on the categories that cause mismatches in meeting work schedules. Mobilization of workers according to location and working hours has been regulated in company regulations allowing the placement of workers in accordance with the residence so as not to affect the desired work results the company is still within reasonable limits and can be increased. The assessment of this study as a progression factor inhibiting the company in achieving company targets. From the results of the author's analysis of the prediction of employee delay factors using three algorithms, namely the C.45 algorithm accuracy = 79.37% and AUC value = 0.646, Random Forest Algorithm accuracy = 78.58% and AUC value = 0.807 while for the Random Tree algorithm accuracy = 76.26% and the AUC value = 0.610.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat industri kerajinan konveksi Kampung Sablon di Kecamatan Wedi Kabupaten Klaten dari keterpurukan ekonomi di masa pandemi covid 19 melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang kewirausahaan, pengelolaan keuangan dan manajemen serta pemasaran online yang melibatkan akademisi dan praktisi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam jangka waktu satu tahun, meliputi koordinasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan ini telah meningkatkan produksi, penjualan dan asset UKM sebesar 20% dari kondisi sebelumnya dan keberlangsungan kegiatan ini dikemudian hari akan sangat tergantung pada partisipasi serta dukungan semua pihak (UKM, pemerintah daerah, akademisi dan pihak lainnya).

Abstract

Untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi alcohol dan dan beberapa faktor lainnya yang diperkirakan memiliki peran terhadap tingkat kinerja belajar remaja yang masih bersekolah, maka saat ini dilakukan penelitian terhadap data publik yang telah didapatkan dengan menggunakan teknik machine learning dengan melatih beberapa model untuk memprediksi nilai akhir sebagai acuan kinerja belajar pelajar. Dengan melatih beberapa model machine learning untuk memprediksi nilai tahun akhir dari bahasa portugal dengan melakukan metode komparatif membandingkan model Support Vector Regressor (SVR) dan Random Forest (RF) sehingga akan didapatkan model terbaik untuk memprediksi. Semua model memiliki hyperparameter yang harus disesuaikan. Untuk menyetel hyperparameter ini menggunakan menggunakan Cross Validation. Model terbaik untuk memprediksi nilai akhir G3 adalah Support Vector Regressor (SVR) dan Random Forest (RF), dan memiliki mean absolute error (MAE) masing-masing sekitar 2,24 dan 2,25. Melalui plot MAE, model SVR dan RF bekerja dengan baik. Tetapi, Dengan menganalisis distribusi kesalahan yang dibuat oleh kedua model, dapat disimpulkan bahwa SVR lebih seimbang, yaitu memiliki rasio yang lebih baik antara nilai yang diremehkan dan ditaksir terlalu tinggi, sementara RF berkinerja lebih baik pada outlier.

Abstract

Portofolio optimal adalah portofolio dengan kombinasi return ekspektasian dan risiko terbaik. Portofolio yang optimal akan berisi aktiva-aktiva yang mempunyai nilai excess return to beta (ERB) yang tinggi. Aktiva-aktiva dengan nilai excess return to beta (ERB) yang rendah tidak akan dimasukkan ke dalam portofolio optimal, sehingga diperlukan sebuah titik yang menentukan batas nilai yang memisahkan antara excess return to beta (ERB) yang diklasifikasikan tinggi dan excess return to beta (ERB) yang diklasifikasikan rendah. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk membentuk portofolio optimal saham adalah model indeks tunggal. Model indeks tunggal merupakan penyederhanaan perhitungan dari model Markowitz. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pembentukan portofolio optimal menggunakan model indeks tunggal pada saham LQ45 periode 2017-2021. Populasi penelitian ini adalah saham yang termasuk dalam Indeks LQ45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2021. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel yang terpilih sebanyak 24 saham. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan data sekunder berupa harga penutupan saham bulanan Indeks LQ45, Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan, dan BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 24 saham sampel penelitian, terdapat lima saham yang merupakan saham pembentuk portofolio optimal yaitu, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO), PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO), dan Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN). Besarnya proporsi dana yang layak diinvestasikan pada saham tersebut adalah BBRI sebesar 45,7%, ANTM sebesar 26,4%, INCO sebesar 18,3%, ADRO sebesar 9,2%, dan BBTN sebesar 0,3%. Portofolio yang terbentuk dari lima saham tersebut mampu memberikan return ekspektasi sebesar 0,0176 atau 1,76% dan risiko sebesar 0,0017 atau 0,17%.

Abstract

Aplikasi Lazada merupakan salah satu e-commerce yang ada di Indonesia. Memiliki berbagai campaign menarik yang ditawarkan bagi para penggunanya, salah satunya Gajian Ganti Handphone. Tentu pembuatan halaman campaign telah berdasarkan pertimbangan banyak hal, salah satunya tampilan desain halaman. Namun dalam penggunaannya masih ditemui beberapa permasalahan. Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada analisis UI dan UX dengan menggunakan metode Design Thinking dan rancangan kembali prototipe desain antarmuka halaman campaign tersebut. Penggunaan metode Design Thinking akan mengadaptasi metode yang biasa diterapkan oleh desainer menggunakan prosedur iteratif dalam pemikiran desain dari pernyataan masalah hingga solusi masalah. Tujuannya adalah untuk menghasilkan ide sebanyak mungkin sehingga ditemukan permasalahan dan solusi terbaik untuk masalah tersebut. Metode ini akan dimulai dengan tahap Understand, Observe, Define point of view, Ideate, Prototype, Test dan Reflect. Prototipe yang telah dirancang menggunakan Figma kemudian diuji kepada 5 penguji dengan menggunakan metode pengujian System Usability Scale (SUS). Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil uji dengan total nilai 88 dan disimpulkan acceptable, grade scale B dan adjective rating adalah excellent.

Abstract

SMK Sirajul Falah is a Vocational High School located in the Bogor area. However, the selection of the favorite majors in SMK Sirajul Falah is still qualitative so that the process of choosing the favorite majors become not accurate. This is what makes the need for a method that is able to manage the data of the selection of the favorite majors and generate a ranking of the calculation of the weight of the selection of the favorite majors. In the selection of these favorite majors, there is a method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) which can be used in quantitative problem-solving. The SAW method is used to compare each criterion with one another, so as to give the results of the favorite majors and provide an assessment of each department at the Sirajul Falah Vocational School.
