Abstract

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is achronic metabolic disease that requires long-term treatment. Elderly people with multimorbidity often use multiple medications, known as polypharmacy, which can increase the risk of drug interactions. This study aims to analyze polypharmacy prescriptions and determine the relationship between drug interactions and blood glucose levels in geriatric patients with type2 diabetes. This study is non-experimental with a descriptive-analytical design through a retrospective cross-sectional approach. Sampling used random sampling in the form of medical records of171 geriatric patients with type 2 diabetes. Using univariate and bivariate analysis in the form of chi-square statistical tests with a significance level of<0.05. The results showed that the incidence of type 2 diabetes in geriatric women was higher than in men at119 (69.59%), with the largest distribution of geriatric patients in the 60-69 year age range (77.77%). Based on polypharmacy prescriptions, the most common type of polypharmacy encountered was minor polypharmacy (5-9 drugs)(95.3%), and 159 patients (92.98%) had the potential for interactions. Based on the mechanism pattern, pharmacodynamic interactions occurred in413 cases (74.95%), with the most common level of interaction severity being moderate, occurring in340 cases (61.7%). Chi-square test results showed a relationship between potential drug interactions and blood glucose levels, with p-value of 0.000<0.005.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work stress and work discipline on employee performance at PT Indomarco Prismatama Pondok Cabe Area. This research method uses saturated sampling of 61 respondents. Data analysis uses the SPSS Version 26 program application. The analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test, correlation coefficient test, determination coefficient test, hypothesis test (t test and f test). The results of this study are work stress has a significant effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient value of 78.5% and the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table (1.346> 2.001). Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient value of 78.5% and the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table (2.133> 2.001). Job stress and work discipline simultaneously significantly impact employee performance, with a regression of Y = 13.127 + 0.186 (X1) + 0.421 (X2). The coefficient of determination is 78.5%, while the remaining 21.5% is influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test yielded a calculated F value > F table, or (110.651 > 3.15).

Abstract

Quality control is a critical aspect of the manufacturing industry to ensure that every product meets the specified requirements. PT XYZ, as an automotive component manufacturer, faces the problem of a high number of defective products in the Side Member Assy RR Floor component. This study aims to analyze the quality control process using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method with the Seven Tools approach. The research methods include data collection through observation and documentation, followed by analysis using tools such as control charts, checksheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, scatter diagrams, fishbone diagrams, and flowcharts. The results show that the dominant type of defect is spatter, accounting for 83.7% of total defects. Control chart analysis indicates that the process is not fully under control, as evidenced by data points falling outside the control limits. Fishbone analysis reveals that the main causes of defects originate from non-standardized work methods and insufficient operator skills. As a concrete improvement measure, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents and Visual Inspection Checklist forms were developed. This study provides a tangible contribution by assisting the company in improving product quality and systematically reducing defect rates.
