Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This community service research focuses on teacher mentoring in the integration of technology-based interactive media in the learning process at SDN Wangiwisata. This study aims to explore the impact of teacher mentoring on the increased use of technology in the classroom, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 25 teachers who participated in the mentoring program. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, focusing on the teachers' experiences and perceptions regarding the use of interactive media in learning. The results of the study indicate that the mentoring program significantly increased teachers' confidence and competence in using interactive technology in their teaching. Teachers reported an improvement in student engagement and understanding of the material, as the use of interactive media made learning more engaging and easier to comprehend. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure and teachers' initial lack of technological skills were barriers that need to be addressed. Nevertheless, the mentoring program proved effective in providing practical skills to teachers and encouraging collaboration among peers. This study concludes that continuous mentoring and adequate infrastructure support are crucial for the success of technology integration in education. The research highlights the importance of teacher development programs in adapting to the ever-evolving needs of modern education.

Abstract

In the field of education, the need for fast and accurate access to information is essential for teachers, students, and parents. To support effective and efficient information delivery at SD Negeri 03 Pangkalan (Elementary School), a web-based information system has been developed to facilitate the management of school data, news, announcements, achievements, and contacts. This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system using the Waterfall approach as the system development model. Data collection techniques used include interviews and observation. The design of the web-based school information system at SD Negeri 03 Pangkalan employs the UML (Unified Modeling Language) development method, consisting of Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Class Diagrams. The database design uses MySQL, and the system interface was developed using XAMPP as the web server, with PHP and MySQL for the database. The results of this study are a web-based system that can assist the school in managing and distributing information digitally, enhancing transparency, and facilitating user access. The conclusion of this study indicates that the implementation of a web-based information system can improve communication and school promotion effectiveness, as well as ease the management of necessary data.

Abstract

The development of mobile technology and cloud computing has brought significant changes in the transformation of education towards a more flexible and inclusive digital learning ecosystem. This study aims to examine the role of mobile technology and cloud computing in digital education through a literature review method. The review analyzes various relevant scientific publications from 2018 to 2023 obtained from databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, ScienceDirect, and IEEE Xplore. Data analysis is conducted using a thematic analysis approach to identify patterns, benefits, and challenges of applying these two technologies in the context of education. The findings show that mobile technology plays a crucial role in expanding learning access without the limitations of space and time, while cloud computing supports the efficient management and distribution of learning materials and enhances collaboration between students and instructors. However, the implementation of these technologies still faces several challenges, including the digital divide, limited digital competence among educators, and issues of data security and privacy. Overall, mobile technology and cloud computing have great potential in improving the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of digital education if supported by adequate infrastructure, appropriate policies, and capacity building for human resources in education.

Abstract

The amendments to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia post-reform have brought fundamental implications for the configuration of legislative authority within Indonesia’s constitutional system. One significant change is the strengthening of the authority of the People's Representative Council (DPR) as the holder of the power to make laws, as emphasized in Article 20, paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution. This article aims to comprehensively examine the legislative authority of the DPR in the lawmaking process according to the 1945 Constitution, as well as its implementation in Law Number 12 of 2011 on the Formation of Legislation, DPR RI Regulation Number 1 of 2020 on House Rules, DPR Regulation Number 2 of 2020 on Lawmaking, and Presidential Regulation Number 87 of 2014. This study uses the Normative Legal Research Method, with a statute approach. The research findings show that the DPR’s legislative authority includes the power to propose draft laws, to deliberate jointly with the President, and to enact draft laws into law. Although the DPR constitutionally holds the power to create laws, in practice, this authority is still exercised within the framework of the distribution of power, involving both the President and the Regional Representative Council (DPD). This article emphasizes that the DPR’s dominance in legislation has been reinforced after the amendments to the 1945 Constitution, yet its implementation still faces political and procedural dynamics that require strengthening of coordination mechanisms, public participation, and balance between state institutions to ensure the creation of democratic and accountable laws.
