Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic management approach of PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk in improving financial health and realizing the new vision established in 2025. The method used is qualitative descriptive with secondary data analysis from financial reports, OJK publications, and other relevant documents. The result shows, the bank faced significant challenges in the initial years following the new vision’s launch, particularly in the indicators of NPF (2.34%), BOPO (105%), and ROA (0.3%), although CAR (15%) and FDR (82%) remained relatively strong. Strategic management was applied through strengthening risk management, operational efficiency via digitalization, sharia product innovation, and internalization of blessing values as part of the organizational culture. The study’s limitations include a greater focus on quantitative data than qualitative data and a case study limited to a single institution, requiring caution in drawing conclusions. Future research is recommended to use mixed methods and compare practices with other sharia banks so that, evaluation and benchmarking is believed to enhance Bank Muamalat’s competitiveness and sustainability.

Abstract

Perencanaan strategis dan akuisisi talenta merupakan dua elemen krusial dalam menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif di era digital. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan dinamika kompleksitas sumber daya manusia, Analisis Sumber Daya Manusia (ASM) menjadi alat penting dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data di bidang manajemen sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran analisis sumber daya manusia dalam meningkatkan efektivitas perencanaan strategis dan proses akuisisi talenta melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka (library research). Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur ilmiah, jurnal internasional, laporan industri, dan publikasi akademis relevan yang diterbitkan sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa implementasi ASM mampu memberikan pandangan prediktif dan diagnostik dalam mengidentifikasi kebutuhan tenaga kerja di masa mendatang, memetakan kesenjangan kompetensi, serta mengoptimalkan strategi rekrutmen dan seleksi talenta. Selain itu, ASM juga membantu mengukur efektivitas inisiatif SDM serta menyelaraskan kebutuhan tenaga kerja dengan tujuan strategis organisasi. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa organisasi yang mengintegrasikan analisis SDM ke dalam proses perencanaan dan akuisisi tenaga kerja memiliki peluang lebih besar untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kapasitas analitik dalam fungsi SDM dan pengembangan sistem data terintegrasi sebagai langkah strategis ke depan.

Abstract

Performance appraisal plays a crucial role in human resource management, particularly in providing an objective basis for appropriate compensation. Fair compensation based on accurate performance appraisals can motivate employees to improve their individual performance, thus positively impacting overall organizational productivity. This study aims to explore the role of performance appraisals in the compensation process and how they can improve individual employee performance. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a literature review, where data were collected from various journals, books, and scientific articles related to the topic of performance appraisal and compensation. The results show that clear and transparent performance appraisals not only serve as an evaluation tool for providing compensation, but also serve as a means to identify employee strengths and weaknesses, as well as provide direction for further development. Thus, effective performance appraisals can create a results-oriented work culture and encourage employees to strive harder in achieving organizational goals. This study contributes to the understanding of how compensation based on performance appraisals can be a driving factor for improving individual employee performance.
