Abstract

This study aims to implement the differentiated Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in Sociology learning to develop students' creativity and social awareness regarding various social issues within the school environment. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of students' low social concern toward their surroundings, such as the lack of response to students with special needs, those with chronic diseases, and common social problems in the school community. This research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, involving two classes: an experimental class and a control class at SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah. Research instruments included creativity tests, social awareness questionnaires, observation sheets, and project documentation. The data analysis results showed a significant increase in students' creativity and social awareness in the experimental class compared to the control class, as indicated by a t-test significance value of p < 0.05. These findings confirm that the application of differentiated PjBL can enhance students' active participation in addressing social issues within the school and foster caring and creative characters in line with the Merdeka Curriculum demands. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) berdiferensiasi dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dan kepedulian sosial peserta didik terhadap berbagai masalah sosial di lingkungan sekolah. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh fenomena rendahnya kepedulian sosial peserta didik terhadap permasalahan di sekitar mereka, seperti kurangnya respons terhadap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, peserta didik dengan penyakit kronis, serta masalah sosial umum di lingkungan sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experiment, melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol di SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes kreativitas, angket kepedulian sosial, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi hasil proyek. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada aspek kreativitas dan kepedulian sosial peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol, dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi uji-t sebesar p < 0,05. Temuan ini memperkuat bahwa penerapan PjBL berdiferensiasi mampu meningkatkan partisipasi aktif peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan masalah sosial di lingkungan sekolah, serta membangun karakter peduli dan kreatif sesuai tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using barcode-based instructional media through the Canva application in improving students' learning outcomes on local wisdom material at SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) method. By utilizing interactive instructional media, students can access information more flexibly and actively engage in the learning process. The findings indicate that the implementation of barcode-based instructional media using Canva enhances students' understanding and appreciation of local wisdom while promoting more innovative and collaborative learning. Thus, this model effectively supports the Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) concept and can serve as an alternative in developing technology-based teaching methods.

Abstract

Economic development in developing countries is a complex and dynamic process, determined not only by macroe conomic growth but also by institutional quality, equitable access, and social participation. This study aims to analyze various approaches and findings from recent literature related to the dynamics of development and strategies for improving welfare. Using a literature review method involving ten selected journals and key development theories, this article finds that factors such as strengthening local sectors, institutional reform, inclusive digitalization, and the growth of the creative economy are essential to achieving sustainable development. Despite ongoing challenges such as regional disparities, income inequality, climate change, and weak innovation there are significant opportunities arising from technological advancements, agricultural potential, and cross-sector collaboration. Therefore, development strategies rooted in local context and oriented toward social justice are crucial to achieving equitable and sustainable welfare. The government needs to strengthen asset redistribution, infrastructure equity, and digital and financial literacy in underdeveloped areas. Collaboration between government, private sector, and community is also important to build an inclusive and resilient development ecosystem. ABSTRAKPembangunan ekonomi di negara berkembang merupakan proses yang kompleks dan dinamis, yang tidak hanya ditentukan oleh pertumbuhan makro ekonomi, tetapi juga oleh kualitas kelembagaan, pemerataan akses, dan partisipasi sosial. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai pendekatan dan temuan dalam literatur terkini terkait dinamika pembangunan dan strategi peningkatan kesejahteraan. Dengan metode studi literatur terhadap sepuluh jurnal dan teori pembangunan, Artikel ini menemukan bahwa faktor seperti penguatan sektor lokal, reformasi institusi, digitalisasi inklusif, dan pengembangan ekonomi kreatif menjadi kunci keberhasilan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Meskipun negara berkembang menghadapi tantangan seperti kesenjangan wilayah, ketimpangan pendapatan, perubahan iklim, dan lemahnya inovasi, terdapat pula peluang besar dari kemajuan teknologi, potensi pertanian, dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Oleh karena itu, strategi pembangunan yang berbasis konteks lokal dan berorientasi pada keadilan sosial sangat penting untuk mencapai kesejahteraan yang merata dan berkelanjutan. Pemerintah perlu memperkuat redistribusi aset, pemerataan infrastruktur, serta literasi digital dan keuangan di wilayah tertinggal. Kolaborasi antara pemerintah, swasta, masyarakat juga penting untuk membangun ekosistem pembangunan yang inklusif dan tangguh.
