Abstract

This activity addresses coastal environmental issues and promotes the sustainable management of fisheries and marine tourism. The program involved 40 students with a theoretical and practical approach. The practical component, a beach clean-up, successfully collected around 15 sacks of waste, predominantly plastic. Participants also engaged in snorkeling to directly observe the marine ecosystem. In addition, the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) recommended community empowerment, integration of waste management and tourism development, and participatory zoning. This program aims to foster environmental awareness and strengthen collaboration among stakeholders to ensure the sustainable management of coastal resources in Bangka Belitung.

Abstract

Masyarakat di Pulau Semujur Desa Kebintik yang merupakan seorang nelayan dianggap merugikan atas keberadaan identitas mereka. Penelitian ini fokus terhadap hak-hak nelayan penduduk Pulau Semujur mengenai hak mereka atas suara, politik dan pendidikan. Ketidakjelasan status kependudukan mengakibatkan berbagai hambatan dalam mengakses hak-hak dasar sebagai warga negara, termasuk hak politik dan pendidikan. Penelitian ini membahas hak politik masyarakat Pulau Semujur terkait akses mereka dalam menentukan pilihan dan keterlibatan dalam ruang publik. Lebih jauh, penelitian ini juga menyoroti dampak dari ketidakjelasan identitas terhadap hak pendidikan, yang menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat pesisir. Ketidaksesuaian Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) tidak hanya membatasi hak politik mereka tetapi juga menghambat akses terhadap pendidikan formal, memperparah kondisi keterpinggiran sosial dan ekonomi mereka. Selain itu, absennya lembaga pendidikan, tenaga pengajar, dan kebijakan pendidikan yang berpihak pada komunitas kepulauan semakin memperburuk kondisi ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui teknik observasi dan interview. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa negara tidak hadir dalam pencatatan identitas di kepulauan tersebut. Kondisi masyarakat Pulau Semujur adalah bare life atau kehidupan yang telanjang dan rentan dalam konteks identitas.

Abstract

Practical activities are an important component in physics learning because they help students understand concepts concretely through experiments and data analysis. This community service activity aims to improve the quality of physics learning by training students to use Tracker software as a video analysis-based practical media at SMA Plus Bahrul Ulum Sungailiat. The implementation method includes preparation, preparation of materials and guides, training, and evaluation. The material focused on mechanics concepts, namely free fall, parabolic motion, and simple pendulum motion. The training was conducted through the delivery of materials, discussion, and direct practice of video analysis using smartphones. The results showed an increase in teacher and student understanding and skills in technology-based practicals. The use of Tracker enables more efficient and accurate quantitative analysis, increases student engagement, and supports more active, meaningful STEM-based learning.
