Abstract

Science-gamification: Forms of gamification and implementation in science learning. This study aims to identify and map the types of gamifications and their implementation in science education. Using the scoping review method, this research analyzed ten relevant scientific articles from various academic sources. The findings indicate that gamification in science learning can be classified into two main categories: application-based gamification and student activity-based gamification. Application-based gamification utilizes digital technologies such as mobile apps, interactive websites, and online quiz platforms to enhance student motivation and engagement. In contrast, student activity-based gamification relies on physical games, simulations, and active student participation in contextual and collaborative learning tasks. While both approaches show positive impacts on student involvement and conceptual understanding, each presents its own advantages and implementation challenges. This review provides a comprehensive overview of gamification trends and practices in science education and highlights opportunities for further research and the development of innovative gamified instructional strategies

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of Green Chemistry principles in science practicum at schools as an effort to achieve safe, environmentally friendly, and sustainable learning. The method employed was a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing scientific articles published in national and international journals. The findings indicate that Green Chemistry can be implemented through the substitution of hazardous chemicals with safer alternatives, the use of micro-scale experiments to minimize waste, and the development of environmentally friendly practicum modules. The benefits include improved students’ science process skills, reduced laboratory accidents, and the development of environmental awareness. Nevertheless, challenges remain, such as limited laboratory facilities, insufficient teacher competence, and the absence of explicit policy support. This review concludes that Green Chemistry plays a crucial role in strengthening contextual, safe, and sustainable science learning that aligns with the demands of 21st-century education Keywords: Green Chemistry, science practicum

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural education in schools and its impact on students. The research employs a narrative literature review method by examining various studies, policies, and educational practices in different contexts. The findings reveal that multicultural education is implemented through curriculum integration, experience-based teaching strategies, and inclusive school policies. These implementations positively impact students by enhancing their understanding of cultural diversity, fostering inclusivity and tolerance, and developing social skills. However, challenges such as inadequate teacher training, limited resources, and gaps between policy and practice remain. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening teachers' capacity in multicultural education, providing more inclusive learning materials, and implementing systematic school policies to support diversity
