Abstract

Household waste management is a solution to support environmental sustainability. Eggshells, which have a high calcium carbonate content and can be used as organic fertilizer, constitute a waste that can be recovered. This article discusses the community service activities carried out in Pasar Rawa Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency, with the aim of educating the community on how to use eggshells as organic fertilizer. This activity was carried out in three main stages, namely guidance to provide basic knowledge, direct training to practice making organic fertilizer from eggshells, and discussions to deepen understanding and answer to questions from the community. The results of the activity showed that the community was enthusiastic to participate in the training and that most participants were able to process eggshells into organic fertilizer independently. In addition to raising public awareness of the importance of waste management, this activity also has economic and environmental benefits. It is hoped that this program can be the first step towards building a culture of sustainable community waste management.

Abstract

Abstract.Network anomaly detection is a situation that occurs in network traffic that causes conditions to become abnormal. This research aims to analyze the performance of various machine learning algorithms in network anomaly detection and compare the performance of single classifier algorithms with ensemble learning. This ensemble learning technique has advantages such as increased accuracy and performance, can reduce the risk of overfitting and underfitting by using different subsets and features of data, and can turn weak learning into strong learning. However, on the other hand, this ensemble learning technique also has disadvantages in its use, namely that this ensemble method may not work well with high variance models, as the ensemble method may not be optimized for anomaly detection and that this method can be computationally expensive and time consuming due to the need to train and store multiple models. Some of the techniques used are deep learning, eager learning, lazy learning, bagging, feature selection, boosting, and stacking. In addition to this, this machine learning algorithm has weaknesses, including if any of the data used is incomplete, it will result in inaccurate completion data, making the programming process quite time-consuming. This research can help develop a more effective and efficient network anomaly detection system. The results of this research show that using ensemble learning and feature selection techniques can improve anomaly detection performance by reducing the processing time of redundant data and classification, as well as increasing precision values.

Abstract

Abstrak - Transformasi digital telah menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan akses pasar. Namun, sebagian besar pelaku UMKM di pedesaan masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital, baik untuk promosi usaha maupun dalam menyediakan layanan transaksi non-tunai. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada pelaku UMKM di Desa Timbang Jaya dalam dua aspek utama, yaitu pendaftaran usaha ke Google Maps agar lebih mudah diakses konsumen, serta pendaftaran QRIS melalui aplikasi GoPay Merchant untuk mendukung transaksi digital yang cepat dan aman. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, bimbingan teknis, dan praktik langsung bersama para pelaku UMKM. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan digital pelaku usaha, terlihat dari bertambahnya UMKM yang terdaftar di Google Maps dan mulai menggunakan QRIS sebagai alat pembayaran. Program ini diharapkan dapat memperluas jangkauan pemasaran, meningkatkan profesionalisme layanan, serta mendorong kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat desa melalui digitalisasi UMKM. Kata kunci: UMKM, Google Maps, QRIS, GoPay Merchant, Digitalisasi Desa Abstract - Digital transformation has become an essential requirement for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to improve competitiveness and market access. Nevertheless, many MSME actors in rural areas still face limitations in utilizing digital technology, both in business promotion and in providing non-cash transaction services. This community service program aimed to assist MSMEs in Timbang Jaya Village through two main activities: registering businesses on Google Maps to increase visibility among consumers, and registering QRIS via the GoPay Merchant application to support fast and secure digital transactions. The implementation method included socialization, technical guidance, and hands-on practice with MSME participants. The results indicated an improvement in the digital literacy and skills of business owners, as evidenced by the growing number of MSMEs successfully registered on Google Maps and adopting QRIS for payment services. This program is expected to expand market reach, enhance service professionalism, and foster rural economic independence through the digitalization of MSMEs.
