Abstract

The Makmur Anugerah Lestari Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes), which oversees various business units and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Sukamakmur Village and its surrounding areas, continues to face challenges in marketing strategies, as most MSME actors still rely on conventional methods that are less effective in reaching broader markets. Through a Community Service Program (PKM), a team from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Terbuka, conducted training and mentoring on digital marketing to strengthen the capacity of BUMDes and its assisted MSMEs. The program focused on enhancing the participants’ skills in utilizing digital technologies, developing promotional strategies through social media, and marketing products via e-commerce platforms. The training was conducted using a participatory approach, combining material delivery, hands-on practice, technical assistance, monitoring, and evaluation. The results of the program indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of digital marketing concepts and their ability to implement online marketing strategies more effectively.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of environmental responsibility and community support in shaping perceptions of halal tourism through the Social-Ecological Systems (SES) Theory. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and a survey-based approach, data were collected from 300 respondents across three major halal tourism destinations in Indonesia: Lombok, Aceh, and West Sumatra. The findings reveal that community support significantly influences the perception of halal tourism, highlighting the importance of cultural alignment and local participation in tourism development. Additionally, environmental responsibility positively affects perceptions of halal tourism, suggesting that sustainable practices enhance the sector’s appeal. The study emphasizes that integrating ecological concerns with community engagement fosters a more inclusive and sustainable halal tourism model. These insights contribute to the growing discourse on sustainable tourism, offering practical implications for policymakers and industry stakeholders in designing effective halal tourism strategies. By aligning tourism development with environmental stewardship and local community interests, halal tourism can achieve long-term success while maintaining cultural and ecological sustainability.

Abstract

This research examines sustainable tourism in Indonesia, focusing on Ergo Green Tourism, a model that integrates ergonomic principles with green tourism. With the tourism sector significant economic contribution, there is a growing need for a model that balances environmental sustainability with tourist comfort. The research aims to evaluate the Ergo Green Tourism model by analyzing the relationships between Environmental Green Knowledge, Green Marketing, and Environmental Protection in promoting sustainability and improving tourism performance in Indonesia. A quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed. Data was gathered from MSMEs in key Indonesian tourist destinations through structured questionnaires and in-depth interviews, combining both quantitative and qualitative insights. The findings show that environmental protection and environmental knowledge positively influence green marketing, Ergo Green Tourism, and sustainability. Furthermore, green marketing significantly enhances the development of Ergo Green Tourism. This research highlights the importance of integrating green and ergonomic practices into tourism. It provides actionable insights for stakeholders, including MSMEs and policymakers, and suggests further research to refine the model and assess its long-term impact across different regions in Indonesia.
