Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pelatihan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi manajerial guru di SMP Negeri 13 Makassar, serta bagaimana sekolah mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan dan merencanakan program pelatihan yang efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah dan guru sebagai informan utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi manajerial guru, khususnya dalam pengelolaan proses pembelajaran, administrasi pembelajaran, dan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Sekolah menggunakan data dari rapor pendidikan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan secara sistematis, yang kemudian direspons dengan program pelatihan yang relevan dan berbasis pada kebutuhan aktual guru. Selain itu, komunitas belajar dan kelompok kerja di sekolah berfungsi sebagai media kolaboratif yang mendukung pengembangan kompetensi secara berkelanjutan. Evaluasi terhadap hasil pelatihan dilakukan melalui peningkatan indikator mutu pada rapor pendidikan, yang menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berdampak pada kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pelatihan yang berbasis data dan kebutuhan nyata dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui pengembangan sumber daya guru yang terstruktur dan berkesinambungan.

Abstract

Penguatan kompetensi problem solving dan decision making menjadi aspek penting dalam menyiapkan mahasiswa yang adaptif, kritis, dan mampu merespons berbagai tantangan organisasi secara profesional. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas mahasiswa dalam menganalisis permasalahan serta mengambil keputusan yang tepat melalui program penguatan kompetensi kepemimpinan. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dengan memadukan penyampaian materi konseptual, diskusi kelompok terarah, simulasi berbasis studi kasus, dan refleksi pengalaman belajar. Peserta kegiatan adalah mahasiswa yang terlibat aktif dalam seluruh rangkaian program. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas peserta, angket respons, serta evaluasi kinerja pada saat simulasi pengambilan keputusan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap tahapan pemecahan masalah, kemampuan mengidentifikasi akar masalah, menyusun alternatif solusi, serta menentukan keputusan secara rasional dan bertanggung jawab. Mahasiswa juga memperlihatkan perkembangan sikap kepemimpinan yang lebih percaya diri, komunikatif, kolaboratif, dan berorientasi pada penyelesaian masalah. Program penguatan kompetensi ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana pembinaan kepemimpinan, tetapi juga efektif sebagai media pengembangan problem solving dan decision making yang relevan dengan kebutuhan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This study examines the management of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Dunia Harapan School. The purposes of the study are to discover 1) the application of ICT based on 3 ICT components at Dunia Harapan School; 2) the ICT management at Dunia Harapan School; and 3) the supporting and inhibiting factors of ICT at Dunia Harapan School. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results of the study reveal that 1) the application of Information and Communication Technology at Dunia Harapan School based on 3 ICT components, namely the first hardware used, hardware that complies with ICT readiness standards in schools. Second, there are several applications used after the pandemic which are used to date in the new normal era, namely the Talenta application, Ed Connect, Google Classroom, and Zoom. Finally, the user, in this case the school operator, has one operator; 2) the management of Information and Communication Technology at Dunia Harapan, namely the first, planning is conducted based on the school's vision and mission and application selection strategies according to school needs. Furthermore, the organizers where the school does not have its own structure related to ICT/ management so that some of the applications used are handled by one operator, and finally supervision is conducted by the principal and evaluation is conducted at regular school meetings; 3) the supporting factors for the management of Information and Communication Technology at Dunia Harapan School are the hardware and software possessed are adequate and appropriate, and the level of understanding of utilizing ICT applications or devices by school members, while the inhibiting factor is an unstable network

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of a training (diklat) program for developing teachers’ professional competence at SMPN 7 Makassar. The problem addressed in this research concerns how training programs improve teachers’ professional skills and the challenges arising in applying training outcomes in classroom practice. The objective of the study is to analyze the impact of professional development training on teachers’ competence, identify implementation barriers, and evaluate the effectiveness of project-based and technology-based training methods supported by school management. This research employed a qualitative approach with nine teachers of SMPN 7 Makassar who participated in the diklat program as research subjects. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis, including lesson plans, teaching modules, and assessment instruments. The research instruments consisted of observation sheets, interview guidelines, questionnaires, and documentation checklists. Data analysis was conducted using interactive qualitative analysis, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources and techniques by comparing findings from questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the training program has a positive impact on teachers’ professional competence, particularly in lesson planning, classroom management, preparation of teaching modules, use of diagnostic assessment, technology integration, and implementation of project-based learning. Teachers demonstrated improved understanding of students’ characteristics and applied more creative instructional strategies, such as entrepreneurship projects integrated into learning activities. However, the implementation of training outcomes faces several challenges, including limited time, inadequate facilities, funding constraints, and varying levels of teachers’ technological skills, especially among senior teachers. Overall, the study concludes that the training program effectively enhances teachers’ professional competence, although its sustainability and long-term impact depend on strong institutional support, adequate infrastructure, and continuous assistance to bridge the gap between training and classroom practice.
