Abstract

Desa Gondangmanis merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Jombang yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam yaitu jambu gondangmanis, Namun, Masyarakat gondangmanis belum bisa mengolah jambu gondangmanis sehingga bernilai jual. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatkan kreativitas masyarakat melalui pelatihan pembuatan es krim dan nastar berbahan dasar jambu Gondangmanis. Peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan yakni ibu-ibu PKK Desa Gondangmanis. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan mencakup dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelatihan, tahap diskusi dan tahap pemberian angket. Hasil pelatihan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman tentang teknik pengolahan makanan, termasuk memilih bahan baku berkualitas tinggi, mematuhi standar pengolahan yang higienis, dan menggunakan metode penyimpanan yang tepat untuk memastikan kelestarian kualitas produk jambu Gondangmanis; peningkatan dalam mengembangkan variasi tekstur, dan presentasi yang unik untuk es krim dan kue nastar; peningkatan kepercayaan diri untuk memasarkan produk yang telah dipelajari dipelatihan dan berencana untuk mengembangkan produk lainnya. Kata kunci: pelatihan, es krim, nastar, kreativitas, jambu Gondangmanis. ABSTRACT Gondangmanis Village is one of the villages in Jombang Regency which has the potential of natural resources, namely Gondangmanis guava. However, the Gondangmanis community has not been able to process Gondangmanis guava so that it has a selling value. The purpose of the service is to increase community creativity through training in making ice cream and nastar made from Gondangmanis guava. Participants who participated in the training were PKK women in Gondangmanis Village. The training method used includes several stages, namely the preparation stage, training stage, discussion stage and questionnaire stage. Th\ results of the training were an \increased understanding of food processing techniques, including selecting high-quality raw materials, adhering to hygienic processing standards, and using proper storage methods to ensure the preservation of the quality of Gondangmanis guava products; improvement in developing texture variations, and unique presentations for ice cream and nastar cookies; increased confidence to market the products learnt in the training and plans to develop other products. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting style on achievement motivation and learning motivation among student-athletes, with social support as a mediating variable. The background of this research lies in the importance of parenting in shaping character, achievement drive, and learning motivation, especially for students who are also athletes and face dual challenges in academics and sports. This research employed a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. The sample consisted of 81 student-athletes selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results revealed that parenting style had a significant effect on achievement motivation but not on learning motivation. Social support was found to partially mediate the relationship between parenting style and achievement motivation but did not mediate the relationship with learning motivation. These findings emphasize the importance of social support in strengthening achievement motivation among student-athletes, although improving learning motivation requires additional factors beyond parenting style and social support. This study contributes to the development of more comprehensive coaching strategies for student-athletes by optimizing social support. Future research is recommended to explore other psychological and environmental variables that may influence learning motivation.
