Abstract

Mahasiswa di Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan mengharapkan kepuasan dan pelayanan yang baik, meskipun standar kepuasan tiap individu bervariasi. Namun, universitas menghadapi beberapa tantangan internal, seperti kedisiplinan pegawai yang kurang, transfer pengetahuan dari pelatihan dosen yang belum optimal, penempatan pejabat struktural yang tidak sesuai harapan dosen, serta beban kerja dosen yang tinggi tanpa dukungan SDM dan sarana prasarana memadai, yang semuanya berdampak pada kualitas kerja dosen dan menimbulkan ketidakpuasan. Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan alat ukur SEM, menemukan bahwa kualitas kerja dosen secara signifikan dan positif memengaruhi motivasi mahasiswa (CR/t hitung = 2,109, p-value = 0,035). Selanjutnya, motivasi mahasiswa juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa (CR/t hitung = 2,712, p-value = 0,007). Menariknya, meskipun gaya kepemimpinan dan kualitas kerja dosen tidak secara langsung memengaruhi kepuasan mahasiswa, kualitas kerja dosen memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara tidak langsung terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa melalui motivasi mahasiswa sebagai variabel intervening (t hitung = 2,139). Ini menegaskan pentingnya meningkatkan kualitas kerja dosen untuk memicu motivasi mahasiswa demi mencapai kepuasan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The river and beach coasts in the Belawan area that are currently faced with waste problems not only cause environmental and health pollution, but also serious problems that have an impact on the regional economy. Pollution due to waste in the sea will indirectly threaten many things on earth. Including, threats to humans. As a result of indirect threats from waste in the sea, humans will feel the impact on the environment. Poor waste management also has an impact on the environment, causing the aesthetics of the environment to be less pleasing to the eye, for example, the large amount of scattered waste that disrupts the freshness of the air in the community environment. Regulators and operators as implementers of regulations must make good efforts so that waste management in the coastal areas of rivers and beaches in Belawan is carried out through community empowerment. Good waste management planning will provide socio-economic value to the community if followed by community empowerment. The formulation of the problem in this study is: how much direct influence does waste management planning have on the environment; the direct influence of waste management planning on empowerment; the direct influence of empowerment on the environment and the indirect influence of waste management planning on the environment through empowerment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent of the direct influence of waste management planning on the environment; direct influence of waste management planning on empowerment; direct influence of empowerment on the environment and indirect influence of waste management planning on the environment through empowerment. This study is a causal associative study with a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and confirmatory factor analysis, structural model analysis with hypothesis testing is carried out using the t-Value value with a significance level of 0.05.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) was carried out by lecturers and students of the Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, HKBP Nommensen University, Medan, Postgraduate Students of the Faculty of Economics, University of North Sumatra in collaboration with the Regional Management Board (DPD) of MARTABE North Sumatra, located at Jl. Until No. 260 Medan, MARTABE North Sumatra is a community that contributes ideas to develop North Sumatra Province in terms of creativity, community innovation as Martabe members to improve the household economy. This Community Service (PKM) was carried out with the aim of empowering the community in the MARTABE North Sumatra community as members. Through this PKM, the community as MARTABE members are given empowerment through training on how to process Andaliman raw materials with various other mixed ingredients so that they can be accepted by the market as quality drinks. This program is expected to be a sustainable solution for increasing the added value of Andaliman through processing it into functional beverage products. With strong processing and marketing skills, the community will achieve increased income and economic independence. Downstreaming andaliman into ready-to-drink juice is not simply a technical process, but a multidimensional intervention that combines food science, microeconomics, community empowerment, and marketing strategies. The program's success depends on an integrated approach: scientific product validation, human capacity building, a realistic business model, and regulatory compliance. With this foundation, this Community Service (PKM) program has the potential to generate tangible and sustainable economic impact for the MARTABE community members in North Sumatra
