Abstract

The increasing population growth rate causes a city to face the problem of limited land for residential development. Housing is a fundamental demand of the community that must be fulfilled, especially for low-income people. Through the construction of flats named Rusunawa, the government tries to fulfill the demand for decent housing and anticipates the emergence of slum settlements. In its development, there are Rusunawa whose management is not optimal in maintenance which results in unkempt conditions and causes residents to not get satisfaction and convenience in occupying housing. This study aims to analyze the level of satisfaction, the convenience of residents, and the management of Rusunawa. It is based on the income level of residents and identifies strategies for service improvement of Rusunawa management. This study uses primary data to obtain the level of satisfaction, comfort, and management of flats based on income levels. The data collected is preliminary data consisting of data from questionnaires to the residents of the apartments and data from interviews with the Rusunawa management agency. The method in this study uses a mixed method based on qualitative methods with interview techniques and quantitative methods with survey techniques (questionnaires). The results show that there is a significant difference in the level of building convenience based on the income level of the residents of the Rusunawa. The management of the Rusunawa has not reached its maximum goals related to implementing the Rusunawa regulation. Runaway development programs are required, such as providing counseling, participating in social activities regarding environmental care, and conducting socialization with residents, especially the priority aspects of unique flats for low-income communities.

Abstract

Building construction in the Soloraya area often encounters cracking problems. This problem is generally caused by various factors such as improper design, poor material quality, building age, etc. which can have an impact on durability and structural strength. Therefore, Appropriate Structure Research Group conducted a community service with the aim of providing solutions to be utilized in the construction of buildings in the Soloraya area. This service was carried out with CV. Sokogi Reksacipta which is a local construction consultancy service provider. The concrete innovation presented as a solution is hybrid fiber concrete that combines natural fibers, i.e. ramie fibers and synthetic microfibers with improved mechanical properties to increase resistance to cracking. Through a series of laboratory tests and data analysis, the effectiveness of using hybrid fiber concrete in reducing the risk of cracking and increasing the durability of concrete structures was evaluated. The method used in this community service is socialization of the use and method of making innovative concrete. From the results of this program, 93.75% of participants understood the socialization activities, therefore this program is expected to contribute to the development of more durable and sustainable concrete technology for building construction applications in the Soloraya area.

Abstract

Beams serve as the main structural elements that transmit loads from floor slabs to columns and ensure the overall stability of the building. Calculation of beam volume requirements is essential to determine the amount of materials required, such as concrete and reinforcing steel. The conventional method of calculating the volume of a beam structure involves the use of basic mathematical formulas to calculate the dimensions and volume of materials required. This method is often used in the learning process of civil engineering to teach basic concepts of volume calculation. The method of implementing beam structure work affects the technical aspects. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research related to the calculation of beam structure requirements in the Joglo Elementary School building construction project. The purpose of this research is to analyze the needs of bracing, formwork, and concreting on floors 1, 2, and 3 of the Joglo Elementary School Building Project. This type of research is quantitative research. The calculation uses conventional methods (mathematical formulas). The data collection method used is the field observation method and data processing is assisted using Microsoft Excel 2021 software. The need for beam formwork for the 1st floor is 12,492.12 kg, the 2nd floor is 28,222.35 kg, and the 3rd floor is 28,222.35 kg. The formwork requirements for the 1st floor beams amounted to 627.220 m2, the 2nd floor amounted to 873.91 m2, and the 3rd floor amounted to 873.91 m2. The need for concreting the 1st floor beam or tiebeam is 68,424 m3, the 2nd floor is 97,084 m3, and the 3rd floor is 97,084 m3.

Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan pada pembangunan infrastruktur menyebabkan penggunaan beton semakin membesar, namun hal ini turut memberikan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan terutama pada penggunaan sumber daya alam yang berlebihan dan emisi karbon dari proses produksi semen. Untuk mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan maka dapat dilakukan pemanfaatan bahan ramah lingkungan dengan melakukan penelitian terkait analisis berat volume dan kuat tekan beton dengan penggunaan bahan substitusi serbuk kayu dan serbuk arang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh serbuk kayu sebagai substitusi berat agregat halus sebesar 2,5% dan serbuk arang sebagai substitusi berat semen dengan variasi 0%, 2%, 5%, 7%, dan 9% terhadap hasil berat volume dan kuat tekan beton pada umur 14 dan 28 hari. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen laboratorium menggunakan benda uji silnder beton sebanyak 24 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan serbuk kayu dan serbuk arang menyebabkan penurunan berat volume pada beton. Pada umur 14 hari menunjukkan penurunan dari beton normal ke V5 yaitu sebesar 2225 kg/m3 menjadi 1966 kg/m3. Pada umur 28 hari menunjukkan penurunan signifikan berat volume terjadi pada beton normal ke V5 yaitu sebesar 2258 kg/m3 menjadi 2035 kg/m3. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan optimal pada penambahan inovasi material adalah V2 sebesar 7,55 MPa pada umur 14 hari dan V3 sebesar 9,24 MPa pada umur 28 hari. Kuat tekan dengan inovasi material ramah lingkungan pada peneitian ini menunjukkan kuat tekan yang dihasilkan lebih rendah dibandingkan kuat tekan pada beton normal yang mencapai 15,66 Mpa dan 17,17 Mpa pada 14 dan 28 hariĀ  . Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ramah lingkungan dapat mengurangi berat beton secara signifikan walaupun diiringi dengan penurunan kuat tekan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan potensi aplikasinya sebagai material untuk konstruksi non struktural sehingga dapat membantu mengurangi penggunaan sumber daya alamt dan emisi karbon dari produksi semen.

Abstract

Hunian yang nyaman dan layak merupakan hak mendasar bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Untuk mendukung pemenuhan kebutuhan tersebut, pemerintah melalui Direktorat Jenderal Penyediaan Perumahan Kementerian PUPR melaksanakan program penyediaan rumah bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah (MBR) yang bersifat subsidi. Program ini diharapkan dapat menekan jumlah kawasan kumuh yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah, khususnya di kawasan perkotaan. Dalam implementasinya, penyediaan perumahan perlu memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi preferensi masyarakat agar pembangunan yang dilakukan dapat berkelanjutan serta mampu meningkatkan daya beli kelompok MBR. Berdasarkan kajian literatur dan data sekunder dari berbagai jurnal, faktor utama yang memengaruhi pemilihan perumahan meliputi harga, lokasi, dan fasilitas. Di antara ketiga faktor tersebut, harga menjadi determinan paling signifikan dalam proses pemilihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan kombinasi pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk menganalisis pengaruh lokasi dan fasilitas terhadap harga perumahan. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan persamaan Y = 0,089 + 0,256 X1 + 0,651 X2. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa fasilitas merupakan variabel yang paling dominan memengaruhi harga, diikuti oleh faktor lokasi, dengan kontribusi kedua variabel bebas terhadap perubahan harga mencapai 96,8%.

Abstract

Floor slabs are important structural elements in building construction that function as floor coverings and withstand various loads. The purpose of this study is to identify the implementation method of the slab work and analyze the material requirements for the slab work of the Joglo Elementary School Building Construction project. This research applies quantitative research type. The volume calculation method is manual (conventional). The calculation analysis is only limited to the work of reinforcing iron, formwork, and concrete. The implementation of floor slab work in this project includes reinforcement work, formwork work, casting work, formwork demolition work, and floor slab concrete maintenance work. The reinforcement requirement for the 1st floor needs 8,551.02 kg, the second floor 17,102.04 kg, and the third floor 17,102.04 kg. The formwork requirements for the 1st floor slab amounted to 1038.34 m2, the second floor amounted to 1038.24 m2, and the third floor amounted to 1038.34 m2. The casting requirement for the 1st floor slab is 103.83 m3, the 2nd floor is 124.60 m3, and the 3rd floor is 124.60 m3.
