Abstract

This research aims to build employee performance through Intellectual Ability, Commitment and Organizational Dynamics at the West Papua Provincial Education Office. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research population is all employees of the West Papua Provincial Education Office totaling 128 people, all of whom were used as research samples, using saturated samples. The research data was obtained from the results of filling out the questionnaire and analyzed using SEM-AMOS. The results of the study show that: 1) intellectual ability, organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on organizational justice, political skills, and employee performance, 2) organizational justice and political skills have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 3) intellectual ability and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through organizational justice and political skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Keadilan Organisasional terhdapa Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Papua Barat dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 128 pegawai. Keadilan Organisasional terdiri diri terdiri dari keadilan distributive, keadilan procedural dan keadilan interaksional. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis corelasi dan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Y = 15.605 + 0,263X1 + 0,387 X2 + 0.535 X3 . Keadilan organisasional, yang mencakup keadilan distributif, keadilan prosedural, dan keadilan interaksional, sangat penting dalam mendukung dan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Papua Barat. Penerapan keadilan organisasional yang baik dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, memotivasi pegawai, dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan di wilayah tersebut

Abstract

Background: Human resources (HR) are an essential asset for every organization, including the West Papua Provincial Education Office, where effective recruitment, selection, and placement play a vital role in achieving optimal performance. High employee performance can drive the achievement of organizational goals, but many organizations face challenges in managing the proper recruitment and selection process, resulting in inappropriate employee placement. Purpose: This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of recruitment, selection, and placement on the performance of employees of the West Papua Provincial Education Office. Methods: This research method uses a quantitative method. The research sample consisted of 114 employees of the Papua Basrat Provincial Education Office. Data was collected using questionnaires and then processed using the SPSS program. Meanwhile, the data testing techniques used in this study include validity tests, reliability tests with Cronbach's Alpha, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and determination coefficients. Results: The results showed that employee placement had a positive and significant influence on employee performance, selection had a positive and significant influence on employee performance, and recruitment did not have a significant influence on employee performance. Conclusion: Effective placement and selection are the primary keys to improving employee performance, while the recruitment process needs to be improved to achieve more optimal results.
