Abstract

This research was conducted based on preliminary observations in which the researcher found that the badminton learning process at SMAS Buq’atun Mubarakah Darul Aman Gombara Makassar had not yet utilized interactive learning media, and was still dominated by conventional teaching methods. The objectives of this research are: (1) To identify the need for the development of badminton tutorial videos, (2) To design a badminton tutorial video that aligns with students' learning needs, and (3) To determine the validity and practicality level of the developed video. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The study involved 30 students and 1 physical education teacher. The results of the study are as follows: (1) In the define stage, the needs analysis indicated that students required audiovisual-based learning to better understand basic badminton techniques. (2) In the design stage, the tutorial video was developed by incorporating relevant content such as text, images, and video demonstrations based on the identified needs. (3) In the development stage, alpha testing showed that expert validation resulted in a score categorized as very valid. Media experts rated the video as highly appropriate, and content experts gave a score of 92%, placing it in the "very good" category. Beta testing in the small group trial yielded a practicality score of 90.1% (very practical), while the large group trial reached 96% (very practical). Additionally, feedback from the subject teacher also indicated the video tutorial was "very practical" for use in the learning process.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop infographics as an innovative learning media in the subject of Pancasila Education and Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) with the topic “Voice of Democracy” at the Junior High School (SMP) level. The development method used is the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. At the analysis stage, student needs and learning constraints were identified through surveys and interviews with teachers and students. The infographics developed were tested on students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Bantaeng. The effectiveness of the media was measured using pre-test, post-test, and student response questionnaires to the infographics. The results showed that the use of infographics improved students' conceptual understanding in the very good category, and encouraged creativity and participation in class discussions. Based on the evaluation, the infographics were rated excellent from the aspects of design, content, and usability by teachers and students. Thus, this infographic is recommended as a supporting media for P5 learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the practicality of interactive learning multimedia based on Smart Apps Creator (SAC) in supporting students' understanding of science learning in class VIII MTs Sinoa, especially on vibration, wave, and light materials. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. At the validation stage, the results from material experts and media experts showed that the developed learning multimedia was very valid with a material validity level of 95.8% and a media validity of 100%. This shows that the content and design of the learning media are very much in accordance with the standards needed to improve student understanding. This validation provides confidence that the material presented in the SAC application has met the eligibility criteria for use in the science learning process. Furthermore, at the practicality testing stage, the responses of educators and students to this learning multimedia showed very positive results. The response of educators to the practicality of this media reached 95.4%, while the response of students was 90.5%. This indicates that both educators and students feel that this media is very practical to use in learning, so that it can increase student interaction and involvement during the learning process. The implementation of media in learning resulted in higher enthusiasm among students, and the evaluation results showed a significant increase in student understanding. Thus, the use of interactive learning multimedia based on SAC has proven to be an effective alternative innovative media in improving student understanding at MTs Sinoa.
