Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of science through an interdisciplinary approach as a strategy to bridge the gap between religion and science. Using a literature review method, this study begins by determining the research subject, namely the integration of science, and the research object, namely interdisciplinary studies in Islamic education. Literature collection began with the analysis of 20 valid articles from national and international journals that are indexed and accredited. The findings of this study present a unique new paradigm for Islamic education, where strengthening interdisciplinary studies through a curriculum based on current issues, developing collaborative learning methods, and integrating multidisciplinary research are feasible. In addition, improving 21st-century competencies (technological literacy, critical thinking, analytical thinking, and contextual thinking) is important in maintaining the relevance of adaptive Islamic education. The implications of this research offer a framework that can be applied as a reference for policymakers in curriculum development and for educators in designing learning. Theoretically, this research describes a more specific model of interdisciplinary integration while emphasising it as an essential new paradigm. Practically, this research contributes to strengthening the curriculum, learning methods, and the development of holistic learning competencies. However, this research has limitations as it only covers a small part of the dimensions of Islamic education, thereby opening opportunities for further research, particularly regarding learning design, media, and learning strategies through the new paradigm offered.

Abstract

Penguatan tata kelola administrasi yang transparan dan akuntabel menjadi kebutuhan utama dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam, khususnya di lingkungan Kementerian Agama. Artikel ini mengkaji peran aplikasi Tanda Tangan Elektronik (TTE) Kemenag sebagai solusi digital dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi administrasi melalui transparansi dan akuntabilitas yang terintegrasi. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengimplementasikan dan mensosialisasikan penggunaan aplikasi TTE Kemenag kepada staf pengelola administrasi di madrasah agar proses pengelolaan dokumen menjadi lebih cepat, aman, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Pengabdian dilaksanakan di MTsN 1 Tulungagung yang merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam dibawah naungan Kemenag. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah magang (internship) praktik bersifat partisipatif dan kontekstual, memungkinkan peserta magang dalam hal ini mahasiswa untuk terlibat langsung dalam proses pembelajaran dan penerapan teknologi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengguna dalam menggunakan TTE Kemenag, mempercepat proses tanda tangan dokumen resmi, serta menurunkan risiko manipulasi administrasi. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi TTE Kemenag efektif dalam memperkuat tata kelola administrasi yang transparan dan akuntabel pada madrasah, dengan implikasi positif terhadap pengelolaan layanan administrasi yang modern dan terpercaya di lingkungan Kemenag. Pengembangan penggunaan aplikasi serupa direkomendasikan untuk memperluas transformasi digital di sektor pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This scientific article discusses madrasah management's responsiveness to globalisation through the implementation of digital-based learning at MTsN 1 Tulungagung. The purpose of this study is to analyse the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes in improving the quality of learning, especially digital-based learning. This study employs a qualitative approach, using data collection methods including interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analysed through condensation, presentation, and verification. Data validity was ensured through tests of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of the study show that planning includes alignment with the madrasah's vision, mission, and objectives, supported by coordination meetings, the preparation of facilities and infrastructure, improvements in teacher competence, and socialisation with parents and prospective students. The implementation of digital learning was successful due to the synergy between available facilities and infrastructure and the presence of competent, well-qualified human resources. Evaluations were conducted incidentally and periodically at the end of the semester through reflection and Computer-Assisted Test (CAT)-based examinations. There were obstacles to implementing digital-based learning, namely, limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as misconceptions about it. The study concluded that strategic management can enhance the quality of digital learning, offering essential implications for educational institutions as they adapt to technological advances.
