Abstract

Waste management is one of the most urgent environmental problems in Indonesia, including in Pekanbaru City. Padang Terubuk Village faces challenges such as limited public awareness and inadequate waste facilities. To address this, the community established a Waste Management Institution (LPS) as a local actor in managing household waste and promoting the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). This article explains the role of LPS in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the MBKM Community Service Program. The method applied was participatory, including seminars, coordination with stakeholders, household socialization, and digital innovation through Instagram branding. The results show that LPS succeeded in raising awareness, encouraging waste sorting, and building collaboration between residents, students, and the government. This integration proves that community-based institutions are essential in supporting environmental sustainability and urban development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep pendidikan akhlak berdasarkan Al-Qur’an dan Hadis serta menganalisis implementasinya dalam konteks pendidikan formal di sekolah. Dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) yang bersifat deskriptif-kualitatif, penelitian ini menghimpun data dari sumber primer (Al-Qur’an dan Hadis) dan sekunder (jurnal ilmiah, buku, serta penelitian terdahulu) yang relevan dengan tema akhlak Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan akhlak dalam perspektif Islam menekankan pembentukan karakter melalui tauhid, ketaatan kepada Allah dan Rasul, serta penanaman nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, sopan santun, dan kasih sayang. Sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai tersebut melalui kurikulum, keteladanan guru, dan pembiasaan dalam aktivitas pendidikan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai akhlak Islam secara sistematis dalam sistem pendidikan nasional guna mencetak generasi yang berilmu, beriman, dan berakhlak mulia.
