Abstract

Peatland restoration is a potential solution to resolve peatland damage but faces an economic-social-environmental exchange (Sustainable Development Goals) that results in strong disagreements between stakeholders who have different interests such as company, community and local or regional government concessions. Successful peatland restoration will depend on how various priorities have been reconciled, as much as it depends on improving governance and cross-sector collaboration well done. The purpose of this paper is to find a solution how to be managing peatlands in Sungaitohor, Indonesia. We use social maps to show the communities concern to restoration of degraded peatland, we try to compare the level of public awareness to prevention efforts and the restoration of peatland damaged by fires Forest and peatlands. The findings of this paper are social map, that explain the community’s participation to efforts of peatland restoration in Sungai tohor, Indonesia.

Abstract

Programs grand strategy is the development of four regional programs, one of which is a regional development program for the District of transit and petropolitan Saber and baseboards. Of the set target program's grand strategy has a span of five years, ie between years 2010-1015 but is expected this program will not selsesai up in any given year can be said that this program is still in the preparation stage is the preparation of the planning and preparation of the complete document infrastructure facilities to support the realization of Saber and Uptown District of the City of Transit and Petropolitan. In theory model of implementation by Van Meter and Van Horn there are six variables into factors that affect the implementation, namely: basic measures and policy objectives, policy resources, communication between the organization and activities of the implementing body characteristics implementers, economic conditions, social and political as well as the tendency executor. The method used in this study is a qualitative research technique is purposive sampling conducted on key informants and analyzed using the data tringulasi. In this study, the informant is the Head of programming and monitoring of the Regional Development Planning Agency Bengkalis, Secretary of the Department of Public Works Bengkalis, Secretary of the Department of City Planning, Spatial and Settlements Bengkalis, Secretary and Secretary of the District Head Saber Edge sub-district. Based on research conducted by perpedoman on the concept of the Grand Strategy Implementation Programme Preparation Saber and Uptown District of the City of Transit and Petropolitan. Until now entering the final period of predetermined targets, the preparation of the program is assessed not maximized and only reached the stage of preparation of the documents alone while planning for infrastructure facilities and infrastructure that supports only up to the workmanship roundabout when seen today has not shown progress significant making preparations other facilities not yet done. Abstract

Customary villages are traditional autonomous institutions, traditional cultural communities, indigenous law communities, and local identities. Batu Songgan Village is one of the traditional villages which is included in the Bukit Rimbang Wildlife Reserve in Bukit Baling in Riau. Local cultural values that are beginning to be neglected in life today are an important issue. Revitalization of the village or the traditional village is a process or way reactivate potentials in order to conserve the indigenous villages. An important value possessed by indigenous peoples in their relationship with the exploration and exploitation of nature . But the reality is a decline in the functions of traditional villages in maintaining environmental sustainability, resulting in ecosystem damage that causes a number of problems, such as flooding, siltation of rivers due to precipitation of sludge, decreasing productivity of crops, fisheries and so on. local communities, the effort to maintain ecosystems in an integrated manner is a strategic effort in the context of sustainable the traditional Village management. Based on this important issue, this study aims to see how the revitalization of the traditional Batu songgan village in sustainable development. Analysis of this study using library research methods (library research). The revitalization research of Batu Songgan traditional village has been carried out with 3 approaches namely physical intervention, economic rehabilitation and social / institutional revitalization. Based on the results of the study, it is known that physical intervention is still weak or not good, while economic rehabilitation and social / institutional revitalization are good enough but still need significant improvement.

Abstract

The coastal area has many potential resources whose utilization is not optimal. One potential that must be developed is the potential of human resources, with ability and creativity, humans can create and develop everything that is initially not considered and has a low selling value into something that has high economic value. The strengthening of science and technology aims to motivate rural communities, especially fishermen, to develop creativity so that they can increase the income and welfare of fishing communities. The science and technology strengthening activity was carried out in Pangkalan Jambi Village with two models, namely the application of the Center for Environment and Society Model, namely utilizing the productive use of social capital and environmentally friendly management of fisheries resources. The second application is the Entrepreneurship Capacity Building (ECB) model related to the ability of the entrepreneurial community. Science and technology strengthening activities and local wisdom in the form of fostering fishing communities in the management of fishery products such as chips, nuggets, meatballs, oil, as medicines and fish jelly as cosmetics. Then institutional development and assistance for marketing. So far, fishermen are only able to sell their catches directly without technology-based processing. After the dedication, there were three programs carried out including the formation of individual skills in fish processing, group formation, and marketing management assistance.

Abstract

Koperasi merupakan wadah yang paling tepat untuk menggalang kekuatan ekonomi. Berbagai potensi sumber daya alam yang ada di Kabupaten Pelalawan dan besarnya peluang pengembangan industri hilir kelapa sawit di daerah tersebut, dapat dimanfaatkan semaskimal mungkin apabila didukung dengan kelembagaan yang baik, sumber daya manusia yang kompetitif, serta terwujudnya learning organization dalam Koperasi. Melalui capacity building sebagai sebuah proses atau kegiatan memperbaiki kemampuan seseorang, kelompok, organisasi atau sistem agar tercipta kinerja yang lebih baik dan tanggap terhadap perubahan lingkungan sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan secara efektif dan efisien serta dapat menumbuhkan berbagai kegiatan padat karya yang dapat memberikan keuntungan jangka panjang bagi pemberdayaan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan memberikan sosialisasi dan komunikasi interaktif terkait dengan berbagai upaya atau kegiatan yang dapat menumbuh kembangkan Capacity Building serta Diskusi panel dengan pihak koperasi serta melibatkan UPT Kawasan Teknopolitan dan Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Pelalawan di Kawasan Technopolitan di Kabupaten Pelalawan.

Abstract

Pentland Restoration Program. The purpose of tbis research is to know the program of peatland restoration in Meranti Islands Regency. The research method used qualitative descriptive approach with the research informant of people involved in the implementation process of peat restoration in Meranti Islands Regency amounted to II people. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used interactive methods ranging from data collection, data reduction, and conclusions. The result of this research is that so fur the effort of peatland restoration program in Meranti Islands Regency has not been realized thoroughly. This is influenced by a lack of understanding of the conceptualisation of peatland restoration programs, institutional preparedness and support of local, formal and informal figures at provincial, district and village levels.

Abstract

Success in natural resource management is highly dependent on the involvement of multi-stakeholders (stakeholders) to take part and work actively in efforts to achieve goals. Siak Regency is the only Regency that has been declared a Green Regency by the Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya. Siak Hijau through the Siak Hijau roadmap issued through the Decree of the Siak Regent Number 446/HK/KPTS/2020 which states that one of the action plans is the management of natural and environmentally sound natural resources which is one of the efforts of the Siak Regency government in managing natural resources in Siak Regency which is carried out by involving multiple parties. The research aims to reveal stakeholders, roles and relationships between stakeholders in environmental and sustainable natural resource management in accordance with the objectives of the Green Siak Program in Siak Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that there are 7 stakeholders identified as having an interest and influence in the management of natural resources and have carried out responsibilities in the implementation of the cooperation. These stakeholders are classified into key stakeholders, main stakeholders and supporting stakeholders. The relationship between stakeholders has a positive value, namely there is no potential conflict relationship, but there are still stakeholders who are not related to each other.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pmeberdayaan masyarakat suku akit khususnya bagi kaum perempuan yang ada di Desa Dungun Baru dan Desa Sungai Cingam (Kecamatan Rupat) Desa Hutan Ayu, Desa Titi Akar, Desa Suka Damai (Kecamatan Rupat Utara), Kabupaten Bengkalis untuk mendapatkan keterampilan dengan memanfaatkan lidi limbah sawit sehingga dapat berkontribusi dalam perekonomian keluarga. Metode pemberdayaan ini adalah melakukan focus grup disscusion dengan pemerintah daerah, Pemerintah Desa, dan kepala suku, memberikan sosialisasi lidi sawit yang memiliki nilai jual dan memberikan pelatihan untuk membuat kerajinan tangan denagan memanfaatkan limbah lidi sawit. Hasil dari kegiata pengabdian ini adalah terjalinnya kerja sama dengan Dinas Perdanganan dan Perindustrian untuk memastikan pemasaran hasil kerajinan tangan masyarakat perempuan Suku Akit dan terbuntuknya kelompok perempuan yang memiliki keterampilan untuk membuat kerajinan tangan yang akan memberikan pendapatn tambahan bagi masyarakat perempuan Suku Akit.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of comprehensively analyzing collaborative innovation in village development in Sabak Auh District, Siak Regency. Because the village is the foremost government agent in carrying out development, therefore the village is the foremost gate of development for a country. Therefore, in implementing village development, it must collaborate with all stakeholders to develop the innovations that have been determined. Because building villages with a collaboration, empowerment, and innovation approach focuses on exploring and developing the potential of the village based on local wisdom, which will become the spirit to realize an independent village. This fact is an investment in the future that will accelerate welfare for village communities more evenly in the long term. The research found that there are several innovations that have been made in village development in the Sabak Auh Sub-district, Siak Regency. The implementation of these innovations includes the implementation of a digitalization program through applications launched by the Siak District government, such as the “Si Cantik ‘ and ’Smart Kampung” applications. The implementation of collaborative innovation in village development in Sabak Auh Subdistrict, Siak Regency, is still running in a limited manner and is not fully optimized, and the factors causing the failure of collaborative innovation in village development in Sabak Auh Subdistrict, Siak Regency, are (1) the application of village service innovations that are not good and (2) training on the use of innovations that have not been maximized.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai implementasi program pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis potensi lokal yang dilaksanakan di Desa Kesumbo Ampai. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan sumber daya yang tersedia, sehingga mereka mampu mengambil keputusan dan tindakan yang mendukung kesejahteraan desa secara berkelanjutan. Dengan memanfaatkan potensi lokal seperti Ubi Manggalo, program ini berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat dalam menggali dan mengembangkan potensi desa yang selama ini belum dimaksimalkan. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, program ini mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam setiap tahap kegiatan, sehingga tidak hanya meningkatkan kemandirian, tetapi juga membangun kapasitas dan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya lokal secara berkesinambungan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemandirian masyarakat serta adanya keinginan yang kuat untuk memanfaatkan potensi lokal, yang diiringi dengan peningkatan keterampilan dan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengelola potensi desa dengan lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.
