Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in preventing hoax news for vocational high school students. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection through observation and interviews. The results of this study reveal that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in disseminating hoax information to students has not been implemented, only carried out by teachers personally when entering class hours. However, in general, schools provide appeals to students including; Students are not allowed to bring communication devices such as cellphones and the information is distributed in each student's class group, displaying hoax posters and. Attaching hoax-themed wall magazines (madding) with the aim that students at SMKN 1 Singkil Utara can avoid hoax information.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas peran perkembangan agama dalam pembentukan akhlak remaja serta kaitannya dengan fenomena kenakalan remaja di era digital, yang dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya perilaku menyimpang akibat ketidakseimbangan antara pertumbuhan fisik dan perkembangan psikospiritual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis terhadap berbagai literatur dalam bidang psikologi perkembangan, psikologi agama, dan pendidikan Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa masa remaja merupakan fase krisis identitas yang ditandai oleh pencarian makna hidup dan internalisasi nilai keagamaan, di mana lemahnya perkembangan jiwa keagamaan berkontribusi pada rendahnya kontrol diri dan meningkatnya kenakalan remaja, baik konvensional maupun digital. Sebaliknya, internalisasi nilai agama yang sehat berfungsi sebagai faktor protektif dalam pembentukan akhlak dan perilaku moral. Pendidikan agama yang kontekstual serta peran keluarga yang suportif dan komunikatif terbukti memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam mencegah kenakalan remaja, sehingga penguatan perkembangan psikospiritual melalui sinergi pendidikan agama dan keluarga menjadi strategi penting dalam membentuk remaja yang berkarakter dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

This article aims to identify and analyse the basic principles of Islamic ethics in both personal and social dimensions, as well as to examine their practical implementation in contemporary Muslim life. This study applies the library research method, drawing on primary sources such as journals and other literature including articles and e-books. The results indicate that Islamic ethics encompasses two major dimensions. In the personal dimension, Islamic ethics emphasises values such as honesty, trustworthiness, patience, gratitude, and sincerity as the foundation for shaping moral and spiritual character through the process of tazkiyatun nufus. In the social dimension, Islamic ethics highlights the importance of justice, brotherhood (ukhuwah), tolerance, and social responsibility in building a civilised society. In the modern era, Islamic ethical values remain relevant in addressing moral and social crises such as corruption, misinformation, individualism, intolerance, and environmental degradation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Fatima Mernissi's thoughts on gender equality and their implications for Islamic education. This study is motivated by the persistence of gender inequality in Muslim societies, which are often legitimized through patriarchal-biased religious interpretations. The study uses a qualitative method with a library study approach, with data sources consisting of Fatima Mernissi's works and relevant scientific literature. The data were analyzed using descriptive-analytical analysis techniques with a historical and sociological approach. The results show that Fatima Mernissi affirms Islam as a religion that upholds the principles of justice and gender equality and rejects the subordination of women that stems from social and political constructions. Mernissi uses a critical approach to religious texts, particularly misogynistic hadiths, by placing them in a historical and sociological context. From the perspective of Islamic education, Mernissi's thoughts position education as the primary means of empowering women and establishing just gender relations. The conclusion of the study confirms that gender equality in Islamic education is in line with the basic values ​​of Islamic teachings and needs to be realized through a contextual rereading of religious texts with a justice perspective.
