Abstract

This study addresses the need for Islamic Economics graduates to acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical English communication skills, in order to meet the challenges of global economic integration and the Islamic finance industry. The research aims to redesign English for Economics courses by applying principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). Using a qualitative descriptive design, this study analyzes curriculum documents, previous research, and case examples from Islamic universities to examine the integration of communicative competence, critical thinking, and contextual understanding into course design. The findings indicate that OBE-based instruction enhances students’ linguistic proficiency, professional readiness, and international engagement by aligning learning outcomes with industry requirements. The study contributes to curriculum development by offering a framework for implementing OBE in English for Islamic Economics. Its novelty lies in positioning OBE as a strategic approach to bridge the gap between traditional reading-focused instruction and the real-world communicative demands of Islamic economics education.

Abstract

Pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah Peran BAZNAS Kota Padang Panjang dalam mengatasi dampak penggunaan jasa rentenir terhadap peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat Kota Padang Panjang. Tujuan pembahasan ini untuk mengetahui Peran BAZNAS Kota Padang Panjang dalam Mengatasi Dampak Rentenir Terhadap Peningkatan Perekonomian Masyarakat. Jenis penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu cara menguraikan informasi-informasi yang diperoleh dari responden dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengamatan (observasi), wawancara (interview), dan dokumentasi. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan bahwa peran BAZNAS Kota Padang Panjang sangat mempengaruhi masyarat dari jeratan rentenir. Dengan cara memberikan bantuan kepada masyarakat/mustahiq dalam bentuk modal usaha. Dan ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan masyarakat melakukan peminjaman kepada rentenir yaitu tidak adanya pendapatan, pendapatan suami yang tidak mencukupi, terdesak dan meminjam ke rentenir itu mudah dibanding dengan meminjam uang ke lembaga keuangan seperti Bank dan non Bank. Peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat menjadi lebih stabil setelah dibantu oleh BAZNAS Kota Padang Panjang dan para masyarakat yang dibantu oleh BAZNAS Kota Padang Panjang tidak ada lagi meminjam uang ke rentenir.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Customer Relationship Marketing and Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction at PT.BPRS Carana Kiat Andalas. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach using SPSS version 25. Sampling was carried out using the Purpose Sampling technique and used 100 respondents as samples. The primary data in this study were questionnaires distributed to respondents via the google form, interviews with the bank, and observation. While secondary data collection of data from publication repost, books, research journals, articles and library research . The data analysis methods used are validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The research results show that Customer relationship Marketing (X1 influences Customer Satisfaction with a t count value of 3,240 and Service Quality (X2) influences Customer Satisfaction with a t count value of 18,024. Meanwhile, Customer relationshionship marketing (X1), Service Quality (X2)simultaneously have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at PT.BPRS Carana Kiat Andalas with an F Count value of 252,906. Throught the adjust R square value, it is also known that the Customer Relationship Marketing and Service Quality variables contribute 83,6% to customer satisfaction. While the remaining 16,4% is influenced by other variables. Keywords: Customer Relations hip Marketing,Service Quality, Customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution to economic growth in Indonesia during the past three years. The number of cooperatives decreased by 19%, this decrease was inversely proportional to the increase in the number of members by 23%, total assets increased by 18%, the business volume increased by 13%, and the increase in the number of SHUs generated was 27%. Cooperatives in Indonesia contributed 5.54% to the National Gross Domestic Product. With an asset value of IDR 152.11 trillion and a SHU of IDR 6.26 trillion

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of company size, net profit margin (NPM), and debt-to-equity ratio (DER) on income smoothing practices in textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022. Income smoothing is a managerial action designed to reduce profit fluctuations, thereby presenting a more stable financial performance and increasing stakeholder confidence. This quantitative research employs multiple linear regression analysis, accompanied by classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests. The results show that partially, company size, NPM, and DER each have a significant effect on income smoothing. Simultaneously, these three variables also significantly influence income smoothing practices, with an explanatory power of 85.7%. These findings suggest that the combination of firm size, profitability, and capital structure significantly contributes to managerial decisions related to income smoothing. This research enriches empirical evidence on earnings management behaviour. It provides implications for investors, auditors, and regulators in evaluating the quality of financial reporting and corporate transparency within Indonesia’s textile and garment sector.
