Abstract

Tourism facilities and accessibility need to be reviewed in an effort to realize accessible tourism as a fulfillment of the right of persons with disabilities to travel. The KAA Museum is one of the famous tourist attractions in the city of Bandung. A key objective of this study is to determine what facilities and accessibility tourists with disabilities need. Next, identify the barriers to accessible tourism at the Museum. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data analysis techniques with field observations and assisted by literature studies. Based on the results, the Museum of the Asian-African Conference fails to meet the criteria as an accessible tourism destination. Lack of government support and licensing are the main obstacles the museum faces.

Abstract

Abstrak: Batik adalah produk tradisional Indonesia dan salah satu ikon negara yang terkenal di forum internasional karena statusnya yang bergengsi sebagai Warisan Budaya Tak benda. Cirebon, sebuah kota di Jawa Barat, Indonesia adalah tujuan wisata yang terkenal dengan sejarah keratonnya. Daerah ini juga merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil batik di Jawa Barat yang dikenal dengan Batik Trusmi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran wisata budaya berbasis ekonomi kreatif di batik trusmi dapat meningkatkan minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung dan peran kawasan wisata Batik Trusmi dalam meningkatkan ekonomi pengrajin di Desa Trusmi Kulon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif adapun data-data yang diperoleh menggunakan sumber data primer dan data sekunder, yang diperoleh langsung dari informan, masyarakat pengrajin batik, dokumentasi dan observasi lapangan. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kawasan wisata belanja batik trusmi dan menjadikan kawasan batik trusmi terus berkembang. serta memberikan dampak yang baik terhadap pendapatan dan daya beli Pengrajin Batik di sekitar kawasan serta adanya penyerapan tenaga kerja di sekitar kawasan wisata belanja batik trusmi yang bekerja di rumah industri batik atau di showroom batik. Kata Kunci: wisata budaya, ekonomi kreatif, batik Abstract: Due to its prestigious status as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, batik is a traditional Indonesian product and an icon of the nation. Cirebon, a city in West Java, Indonesia is a tourist destination famous for its palace history. This area is also home to one of the largest batik production centers in West Java, known as Batik Trusmi. The aim of this study is to determine whether creative economy-based cultural tourism in Batik Trusmi impacts the tourist economy of the area and increases the interest of tourists to visit. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach while the data obtained using primary data sources and secondary data, which were obtained directly from informants, batik craftsmen, documentation and field observations. The study found that Batik Trusmi continued to grow as well as having a positive impact on the income and economy of Batik Craftsmen around the area as well as the absorption of labor. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Sanggar Bhagaskara, yang terletak di Desa Wisata Kampung Majapahit, Bejijong, Kecamatan Trowulan, Kabupaten Mojokerto, memiliki potensi besar dalam mempromosikan seni dan budaya Jawa Timur, khususnya kepada wisatawan mancanegara. Namun, pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi masih menghadapi kendala, seperti keterbatasan keterampilan digital, penggunaan bahasa yang hanya berfokus pada bahasa Indonesia, serta ketidakkonsistenan dalam jadwal publikasi konten. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan media sosial, keterampilan promosi digital, dan penggunaan Bahasa Inggris peserta sebagai sarana promosi pariwisata desa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Juli 2024 secara luring di Sanggar Bhagaskara dengan melibatkan 17 peserta, yang terdiri dari pelaku wisata, pengelola homestay, UMKM, ibu PKK, dan pemuda desa. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup ceramah interaktif, praktik pembuatan konten (teks, foto, video) berbahasa Inggris, diskusi kelompok, serta evaluasi melalui kuisioner pre-test dan post-test. Selain itu, dilakukan pendampingan langsung dalam pembuatan jadwal unggahan dan strategi promosi digital yang konsisten. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kemampuan peserta dalam membuat konten promosi berbahasa Inggris seperti membuat caption dan narasi sederhana, serta meningkatnya kesadaran akan pentingnya konsistensi dan strategi promosi di media sosial. Sebagian peserta langsung mempraktikkan hasil pelatihan dengan mengunggah konten baru yang lebih menarik dan ramah wisatawan mancanegara. Program ini diharapkan dapat memperluas jangkauan promosi pariwisata Desa Bejijong, meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara, serta menjadi model pendampingan serupa di bidang strategis lainnya. Kata kunci: Sanggar Bhagaskara; Desa Wisata Bejijong; pelatihan media sosial; promosi pariwisata; bahasa InggrisABSTRACTBhagaskara Studio, located in the Majapahit Tourism Village, Bejijong, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency, has great potential to promote East Javanese art and culture, particularly to international tourists. However, the use of social media as a promotional tool still faces challenges, such as limited digital skills, the exclusive use of the Indonesian language, and inconsistency in content posting schedules. The aim of this program is to enhance participants’ social media management skills, digital promotion capabilities, and use of English as a tool for promoting village tourism. The program was carried out in July 2024 offline at Bhagaskara Studio and involved 17 participants, including tourism actors, homestay managers, MSME owners, PKK women’s group members, and village youth. The implementation methods included interactive lectures, hands-on practice in creating English-language content (text, photos, videos), group discussions, and evaluation through pre- and post-test questionnaires. In addition, direct assistance was provided to help create posting schedules and consistent digital promotion strategies. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ ability to produce English-language promotional content, such as captions and simple narratives, as well as increased awareness of the importance of consistency and promotional strategies on social media. Several participants immediately applied what they had learned by uploading new, more engaging, and tourist-friendly content. This program is expected to expand the promotional reach of Bejijong Tourism Village, increase visits from both domestic and international tourists, and serve as a model for similar assistance programs in other strategic areas.  Keywords: Sanggar Bhagaskara; Bejijong Tourism Village; social media training; tourism promotion; English language

Abstract

Peneleh Village, the oldest settlement in Surabaya, is a heritage area rich in historical and architectural value, offering considerable potential as a cultural tourism destination in East Java. Within the scope of sustainable tourism development, accessibility is a crucial element for ensuring inclusivity, comfort, and equal opportunities for all visitors. This study investigates the current state of accessibility in Surabaya's Old Town through universal design, prioritizing usability, safety, and clarity in public spaces without discrimination. A qualitative descriptive method was adopted, incorporating field observations, in-depth interviews with local stakeholders and tourists, and a review of heritage planning documents and regulatory frameworks. Findings indicate that many infrastructure elements in Peneleh Village do not comply with universal design standards. Out of 35 assessed indicators, only 22.86% were fully implemented, 11.43% were partially implemented, and 65.71% were not implemented—highlighting a significant gap in accessibility provision. Key issues include uneven pedestrian pathways, inadequate visual signage, and a lack of inclusive public facilities. The study presents strategic recommendations to enhance accessibility and reposition Peneleh as a user-centered and inclusive heritage destination. Improving accessibility through universal design enriches visitor experience and contributes to more sustainable and equitable cultural tourism.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi warga RW 09 Kampung Lemah Putro, Kelurahan Embong Kaliasin, adalah belum optimalnya pemanfaatan potensi lokal dalam pengembangan ekonomi, khususnya sektor kuliner. Topik ini dipilih karena kuliner khas berbasis potensi lokal mampu meningkatkan pendapatan dan memperkuat identitas daerah. Melalui program KKN-Tematik Bela Negara, mahasiswa bersama 15 pelaku UMKM setempat memberdayakan masyarakat dengan inovasi produk Nasi Cokot Isi Ikan Lele. Tujuan pengabdian menciptakan produk unggulan bernilai jual dan mendukung kemandirian ekonomi warga. Metode meliputi lima tahap: perencanaan bersama pengurus RW, uji coba produksi, sosialisasi digital marketing, pendampingan produksi, dan penjualan langsung dengan brand Sego Run. Hasil menunjukkan warga memperoleh keterampilan baru dalam produksi dan pemasaran digital serta mampu menjual produk dengan tampilan menarik; produk menerima respons positif dari segi rasa dan kemasan. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini diperkuat melalui wawancara dengan pelaku UMKM yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman, keterampilan, serta motivasi dalam mengembangkan usaha. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa inovasi kuliner terintegrasi dengan pelatihan kewirausahaan secara langsung memberdayakan masyarakat dan memperkuat ekonomi lokal serta identitas kuliner Kampung Lemah Putro.

Abstract

Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) plays a strategic role in strengthening the people's economy, but still faces various challenges, particularly in financial reporting and the use of information technology. This community service aims to improve the financial and digital literacy of the board members of Koperasi Merah Putih in Ketabang Sub-district, Surabaya, through two integrated approaches: socialization of cooperative financial reporting and the development of a website-based information system. The activity was carried out participatively by involving cooperative board members in every stage, from observation, socialization, website development, to training on system usage. The website was developed using PHP programming language and includes key features such as transaction recording, member management, and financial reporting. The results of the activity showed an increase in the board members' understanding of financial reporting and initial adoption of digital technology, although challenges remain in adapting to technology due to limited human resources. This activity demonstrates that the integration of financial literacy and digitalization of cooperative information systems can strengthen cooperative governance in a more accountable, efficient, and modern manner.
