Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve vocational students’ competence in metal casting by introducing LPG-fueled furnaces and UNNES crucibles fabricated from evaporation boat waste. The partner, SMK Negeri 2 Kudus, faced two main challenges: limited utilization of aluminum scrap from automotive practice and the absence of affordable, durable crucibles for repeated casting activities. The program applied a structured approach consisting of socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Activities included theoretical instruction, pretest–posttest assessment, and hands-on workshops involving furnace operation, crucible utilization, mold preparation, and aluminum casting. Results demonstrated significant improvements: the average pretest score of 4.85 increased to 9.0 in the posttest, reflecting an 85.57% gain in competence. Qualitative observations showed that students developed greater confidence, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards. Beyond competence improvement, the innovation provided a cost-effective and sustainable solution for recycling aluminum scrap and reducing dependence on expensive imported crucibles. The program effectively integrated research-based technology into vocational education and aligned with the Teaching Factory model. This collaboration between university and school can serve as a replicable model for other vocational institutions seeking to strengthen practical skills, sustainability, and industry relevance.

Abstract

The penalty kick is a free kick given by the referee because one of the players commits a foul in the penalty box. Skills when handling the ball while playing are very important and if one day a penalty kick or penalty shootout occurs, the player must also have penalty kicking skills. Executing a penalty kick is not as easy as imagined because being a penalty kick executor requires concentration and confidence. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship between Concentration and Confidence and the result of penalty kicks in a football game. The population in this study is SSB PSPS Segeran which totals 23 people. The sample used in this study was 23 PSPS Segeran players. The technique to be taken in this study uses a saturated sampling technique. In this study, the type of approach in the research method used is a descriptive method with a correlational design. In the concentration test, data was obtained in the hypothesis test 1 F calculated 3.59 with a P Value of <0.05 which means that the data is significant. In the confidence test, data was obtained in the hypothesis test 1 F calculated 7.64 with a P Value of <0.05 which means that the data is significant. Meanwhile, in the double regression test, the data F was calculated at 4.70 with a P Value of <0.05 which means that the data is significant so that it can be concluded that concentration and confidence are related to the results of penalty kicks in football games     Abstrak Tendangan penalti adalah tendangan bebas yang diberikan wasit dikarenakan salah satu pemain melakukan pelanggaran di dalam kotak penalti. Keterampilan saat mengolah bola saat bermain sangat penting dan apabila suatu saat terjadinya tendangan hukuman atau adu penalti maka pemain tersebut juga harus memiliki keterampilan menendang penalti. Mengeksekusi tendangan penalti tidak semudah yang dibayangkan karena menjadi eksekutor tendangan penalti perlu dibutuhkan konsentrasi dan rasa percaya diri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara Konsentrasi dan Kepercayaan Diri dengan hasil tendangan penalti dalam permainan sepak bola. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah SSB PSPS Segeran yang berjumlah 23 orang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemain PSPS Segeran yang berjumlah 23 orang. Teknik yang akan diambil dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Pada penelitian ini jenis pendekatan dalam metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif dengan desain korelasional. Pada tes konsentrasi diperoleh data pada uji hipotesis 1 F hitung 3,59 dengan P Value <0,05 yang berarti data tersebut signifikan. Pada tes kepercayaan diri diperoleh data pada uji hipotesis 1 F hitung 7,64 dengan P Value <0,05 yang berarti data tersebut signifikan. Sedangkan pada uji regresi ganda diperoleh data F hitung 4,70 dengan P Value <0,05 yang berarti data tersebut signifikan sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsentrasi dan kepercayaan diri itu berhubungan dengan hasil tendangan penalti dalam permainan sepak bola.
