Abstract

A healthy economy is the desire of every country, especially Indonesia. However, the ever-increasing number of poor people is a common global problem. Waqf is an Islamic instrument that can address socio-economic issues. Proper management of productive waqf by a nadzir (manager) can develop the waqf and advance the community's economy. This study aims to identify and analyze the role of productive waqf in economic development. This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature review approach. This research is based on books, journals, articles, information, and other sources relevant to the discussion topic. This study suggests that productive waqf, managed well by a nadzir, can increase waqf productivity. Thus, waqf funds can be used to improve the community's standard of living and create sustainable businesses that can improve the welfare of the community.

Abstract

This study discusses trading from the Qur'an perspective, which focuses on tharadin related to buying and selling carried out online. Trading must be initiated by Allah to obtain profits and blessings. Thus, by shunning all its prohibitions we have become obedient and obedient servants of all its commandments and prohibitions. The purpose of this study is to provide an understanding of the concept of trading, namely ar-rida ruknu li al-akad. The research method used is a qualitative method, with a descriptive approach through library research. Tharadin in the contract of buying and selling is one of the pillars that must be fulfilled. At-tharadin is the main pillar of the validity of a sale and purchase because compulsion in transactions will cancel the sale and purchase contract and the law is invalid.

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country with abundant natural resources and a large population, it still faces significant unemployment. Unemployment among college graduates is a major challenge, even though they have the potential to become entrepreneurs who can help reduce it. Entrepreneurship plays an important role in driving economic growth and creating job opportunities, especially for college students who are the next generation of the nation. Therefore, higher education institutions need to direct graduates not only to focus on becoming labor absorbers but also to create their own jobs. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing female students’ interest in entrepreneurship from the perspective of Islamic business ethics among female students of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Darussalam Gontor in 2024, with a focus on entrepreneurial literacy, motivation, and income expectations. To process the data, the authors used SmartPLS 4.0.9.9. The results of this study were obtained from the respondents’ answers; entrepreneurial literacy and motivation have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. And income expectations do not have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. The data show that entrepreneurial literacy, motivation, and income expectations have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. This study found that the entrepreneurial interest of Darussalam Gontor University students is influenced by entrepreneurial literacy, motivation, and income expectations in 72.1%, and the remaining 27.9% is influenced by other factors.
