Abstract

Perkembangan era digital menuntut peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam penguasaan teknologi guna mendukung pembelajaran interaktif. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan dalam penerapan teknologi digital di dalam kelas sehingga diperlukan strategi pendampingan yang efektif. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut dengan mengembangkan keterampilan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital, terutama melalui platform Mentimeter dalam proses pembelajaran interaktif berbasis partisipatif. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri atas beberapa tahapan, yaitu presentasi materi mengenai Mentimeter, demonstrasi penggunaan Mentimeter, pendampingan praktis secara langsung, diskusi interaktif, praktik kolaboratif antarguru, serta evaluasi berbasis umpan balik. Data dikumpulkan melalui dua instrumen utama, yaitu kuesioner yang diisi oleh peserta setelah pelatihan dan rekaman interaksi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat sejauh mana perkembangan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital ke dalam proses pembelajaran setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan berbasis teknologi yang dilakukan secara daring melalui platform konferensi Ms. Teams memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital ke dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman implementasi teknologi dalam pendidikan serta rekomendasi strategis bagi institusi pendidikan dalam merancang peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik di era digital masa kini.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of GPT Chat as a tool in the learning process and its implications for student learning motivation. In an increasingly advanced digital era, artificial intelligence technology, especially Chat GPT, offers great potential in improving the quality of education, including in the context of learning in higher education. This research uses a literature study method to collect and analyze various literature related to the use of GPT Chat in education and its impact on student learning motivation. The study results show that Chat GPT can function as an effective tool in enriching learning material, providing instant feedback, and supporting independent learning. The implications of this research show that the integration of GPT Chat in the learning process has the potential to increase student involvement in academic activities and encourage more active and technology-based learning.

Abstract

MSME 'Indekos' (boarding houses) in Medan City are generally still managed manually, causing partners to face fundamental problems in service and administration. The billing process, reliant on face-to-face meetings, makes tracking payments difficult, while tenants are often late paying due to a lack of reminders. Furthermore, the absence of a documented complaint channel means owners often forget to follow up on issues. This community service (PKM) activity aimed to overcome these problems through operational digitalization. The priority problems addressed were (1) the digitalization of billing and payments to provide real-time arrears information, and (2) the provision of a documented complaint channel with status tracking. The PKM method involved Training and Mentoring for 3 'indekos' owners in Medan City. The science-and-technology (ipteks) solution, a web-based management application, was developed using the adaptive Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, allowing iterative improvements based on partner feedback. Implementation included business process mapping (Planning), application installation (Small Releases), and guided testing (Testing/Feedback). The result of this activity is a ready-to-use application (PHP/MySQL) delivered to partners, along with operational SOPs and training modules. The implementation successfully improved the owners' administrative efficiency and service transparency for tenants.
