Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 of West Seram Regency faces challenges in developing entrepreneurial learning that is both applicable and contextual. Although the curriculum includes entrepreneurship content, the learning process remains theoretical and has yet to address practical aspects that can holistically shape students' entrepreneurial mindsets. This community service initiative aims to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset through training and simple digital business simulations. The method employed is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with an educational and participatory approach. Activities were carried out in the form of theoretical training, product-making practice, and digital marketing simulations using social media and online marketplaces. The results showed a 43% increase in students' understanding and a significant transformation in entrepreneurial mindset across eight core aspects: Growth Mindset, innovation, resilience, adaptability, risk-taking, proactiveness, creativity, and visionary thinking. The program also led to the establishment of a student entrepreneurship club as a sustainability platform. This intervention has proven effective in building a contextual and sustainable school-based entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of roa fish (Hemirampidae/Julung) fishermen in Kase Village, Leksula District, South Buru Regency, where most residents depend on marine resources for their livelihood. Roa fish is a highly valued pelagic species and the region’s primary fishery commodity. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and documentation involving 12 informants, consisting of six owner fishermen and six labor fishermen. Income analysis is based on net income calculation, defined as the difference between total revenue and total costs (fixed and variable). The findings reveal that owner fishermen earn significantly higher income due to their full control over fishing equipment, operational time, and direct sales. In contrast, labor fishermen receive moderate income, relying solely on a profit-sharing system and lacking influence in the production process. External factors such as fishing seasons, extreme weather, and market price fluctuations also considerably affect income levels. This research recommends government interventions including entrepreneurship training, access to capital, and strengthening fishermen cooperatives to foster economic self-reliance within coastal communities

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which price and product quality influence students' online shopping decisions via the social media platform Facebook. In today’s digital era, consumer behavior—particularly among university students—has shifted significantly with the rise of social media as a medium for online transactions. This study employs a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between the independent variables (price and product quality) and the dependent variable (purchase decision). The respondents consisted of 30 students from the Economics Education Study Program, FKIP Pattimura University, who actively shop for products via Facebook. The results indicate that price and product quality simultaneously have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Partially, product quality exerts a more dominant influence than price. Students tend to consider durability, product conformity with descriptions, and visual appeal before making a purchase, rather than being swayed solely by low prices. This study emphasizes the importance of consumer trust in product quality within digital marketing contexts. The practical implication of this research suggests that online sellers should prioritize product quality, provide accurate information, and build positive relationships with consumers

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of monthly finances by students of the Economic Education Study Program at FKIP Unpatti, as well as the influencing factors. The research is grounded in the importance of financial management skills for students who are beginning to live independently. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to explore in depth the behaviors and strategies students use to manage their finances. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight purposively selected students. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns in financial management, saving habits, lifestyle influences, and the challenges they face. The findings reveal that most students do not yet have structured financial habits. The main obstacles are a consumerist lifestyle, lack of discipline, and limited practical financial literacy. Students with better self-control and planning skills tend to maintain more stable financial conditions. This study suggests the need for applied and behavior-based financial education to enhance students’ capacity to manage their money effectively.

Abstract

Literacy skills form an essential foundation in modern education, yet Indonesian students’ literacy levels still require improvement. This study aims to analyze the process of implementing the literacy program at SMP Negeri 2 Ambon in the 2018/2019 academic year and its impact on students' reading interest. The research utilized a descriptive quantitative method, collecting data through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation with class VII8 students as the main sample. The results indicate that the literacy program, through the habit of reading for 15 minutes before lessons, was conducted regularly and effectively enhanced students’ interest in reading. Supporting facilities such as the library, reading corners, and the involvement of teachers and parents further strengthened these positive outcomes. The findings demonstrate that the program’s implementation successfully cultivated a strong reading culture and met the standards for school literacy activities. The implication is the need to strengthen collaboration among schools, parents, and the community, as well as to expand reading materials and provide ongoing literacy training to sustain the program’s success.
