Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to find out how the savings and loan accounting information system that runs on PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) and to design a savings and credit accounting information system at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero). Design/methodology/approach – The analytical tool used is covering system analysis, which then proceed to the system design stage using flowcharts and DFD. Findings – Based on the results of the study the authors found that the system that is run by the cooperative still has shortcomings and weaknesses in terms of member data collection procedures to the transactions carried out, the recording of loan transactions, and the reports produced. Originality/value – This research was conducted at the Cooperative of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) which is still using a manual system. Researcher designs an accounting information system that is able to overcome these weaknesses and shortcomings.

Abstract

Politeknik Jambi is the only vocational college in Jambi Province. The process of collecting inventory assets is not optimal when searching for data because there is no calculation of depreciation on inventory assets that are still manual. With that in order to be optimal, it is recommended to use an inventory asset depreciation accounting system. The purpose of this inventory asset depreciation accounting system is to overcome problems that arise in the current system at the Politeknik Jambi and to be a good solution for universities to create a faster and more accurate system in managing inventory assets. Methods of data collection is done by means of interviews, observation, documentation and analysis of the system used by the company.

Abstract

The design of the corporate income tax simulation application system aims to provide an effective and efficient tool for companies in calculating income tax liabilities in accordance with applicable tax regulations. The research method used is to start identifying problems through literature studies related to corporate taxes and interviews with users. Then analyze the needs related to the required features, security, performance and ease of use. The development system used is the waterfall model method. The waterfall  model method is one of the software development models in the SDLC (Sequencial Development Life Cycle) model. Waterfall  models are often also called linear sequence models or classic life flows. Key features developed include an intuitive user interface, flexibility in handling companies of various sizes, and strict data security to protect sensitive financial information. With a comprehensive design and focusing on user needs, this application is expected to be a reliable solution in supporting corporate income tax management.

Abstract

UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah) memiliki peran penting dalam mendorong perekonomian nasional, terutama di daerah pedesaan seperti Desa Pematang Gajah. Namun, UMKM di desa ini masih menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan daya saing mereka, khususnya dalam menarik perhatian pasar yang lebih luas. Salah satu tantangan utamanya adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan penerapan strategi image branding yang efektif. Sebagian besar UMKM belum memiliki identitas visual yang kuat, seperti logo, warna, atau desain kemasan yang konsisten, sehingga menyulitkan mereka bersaing dengan produk yang memiliki visual branding yang lebih baik. Keterbatasan pengetahuan dan akses terhadap sumber daya kreatif, seperti desainer profesional atau pelatihan branding, menjadi hambatan bagi UMKM di Desa Pematang Gajah untuk membangun citra bisnis yang menarik. Akibatnya, potensi untuk membangun loyalitas pelanggan dan memperluas jangkauan pasar menjadi terhambat. Persaingan dengan produk dari luar desa yang memiliki branding lebih kuat semakin memperburuk posisi UMKM lokal. Dalam era digital, branding tidak hanya mencakup visual fisik seperti logo atau kemasan, tetapi juga merambah ke media sosial dan platform digital. Sayangnya, banyak UMKM di Desa Pematang Gajah belum memanfaatkan media sosial secara optimal untuk mempromosikan produk mereka. Penerapan strategi branding yang kreatif, baik secara visual maupun online, dapat membantu UMKM meningkatkan daya tarik produk, memperkuat citra bisnis, dan memperluas akses ke pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah memungkinkan pembuatan sistem pemantauan yang efisien untuk berbagai aplikasi. Makalah ini menyajikan rancangan dan implementasi sistem IoT berbasis web untuk memantau tingkat air tanah di kebun sawit. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor untuk mengumpulkan data tingkat air, yang kemudian dikirim ke server web untuk pemantauan dan analisis secara real-time. Sistem yang diusulkan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan praktik manajemen air di kebun sawit, memastikan penggunaan air yang optimal dan mencegah over-irigasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas sistem dalam menyediakan data yang akurat dan tepat waktu, yang dapat diakses secara remote melalui antarmuka web. Studi ini menyoroti potensi teknologi IoT dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan pertanian.

Abstract

ndustri kelapa sawit memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian global, khususnya di Indonesia sebagai produsen utama minyak sawit. Permintaan yang terus meningkat menuntut optimalisasi produktivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan produksi. Dalam konteks koperasi petani sawit, adopsi teknologi informasi masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, terutama dalam hal transparansi dan efektivitas pelaporan. Koperasi Wahana Agung, yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, mengalami tantangan dalam pengelolaan data produksi akibat keterbatasan sistem pencatatan manual yang kurang efisien.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web guna meningkatkan efektivitas pemantauan dan pelaporan produksi sawit di koperasi tersebut. Sistem yang dirancang memungkinkan pengumpulan dan penyajian data secara real-time, mengurangi keterlambatan pelaporan, serta mengoptimalkan transparansi dalam pengelolaan produksi. Dengan implementasi sistem ini, diharapkan koperasi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kesejahteraan petani anggotanya.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat mengakibatkan peningkatan jumlah pengguna dan volume lalu lintas data dalam jaringan komputer. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja jaringan adalah bandwidth, yang menentukan jumlah kapasitas aliran data antara perangkat yang terhubung. Kinerja jaringan yang optimal sangat bergantung pada pengelolaan bandwidth yang efisien, karena kekurangan bandwidth dapat menyebabkan kemacetan (congestion), dan penurunan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk menguji berbagai strategi optimalisasi, seperti pengaturan Quality of Service (QoS), load balancing, kompresi data, dan teknik traffic shaping. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur, wawancara dengan praktisi IT, dan eksperimen penerapan strategi dalam jaringan yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi-strategi tersebut secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi jaringan, mengurangi kemacetan, dan mempercepat waktu respons transfer data.

Abstract

Jambi Polytechnic, as the only Vocational Higher Education Institution in the Province of Jambi, requires effective and efficient payroll data management for its employees, lecturers, and staff. Currently, the existing system has expired its contract and is still in the development stage, causing difficulties for financial personnel in managing employee payroll data. Some weaknesses include the absence of features such as report summary, paycheck printing, and the use of a traditional database that is susceptible to data loss. To address these issues, this research aims to design and develop an effective and efficient payroll information system with web-based implementation at Jambi Polytechnic. Data collection methods involve observation, interviews, and documentation, utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle approach. The results include the development of a payroll information system that enhances the efficiency of payroll management, the implementation of a web-based system to improve accessibility to payroll data, and the expectation that this implementation will facilitate the performance of Jambi Polytechnic employees. Thus, the implementation of this payroll information system is expected to significantly enhance the effectiveness of payroll administration and information accessibility.

Abstract

Politeknik Jambi is the only Vocational College in Jambi Province. Lecturers at Politeknik Jambi require effective and efficient employee performance data processing, but still rely on Microsoft Excel. One of Excel's weaknesses is its inability to display data according to access rights, especially when used by three different parties: lecturers, assessors, and administrative staff. This research aims to design a user interface for an employee performance target information system for functional lecturer positions based on web platforms at Politeknik Jambi, using data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation with a Software Development Life Cycle approach. It is hoped that this design will facilitate the work of lecturers at Politeknik Jambi and improve the effectiveness of the performance assessment system as well as information accessibility
