Abstract

Corporate social and environmental responsibility is a duty for firms involved in operations concerning natural resources, such as palm oil plantations. The palm oil business is a crucial sector in Indonesia; nonetheless, its sustainability frequently poses environmental and social issues. This study seeks to examine the execution of corporate social responsibility (CSR) by PT Daya Labuhan Indah Pangkatan concerning the environment and local communities, along with the challenges encountered in fulfilling these obligations. The study employs a normative juridical methodology, concentrating on the implementation of legal norms and principles derived from positive law, utilising both statutory and conceptual frameworks. To substantiate this, actual study was undertaken within the company. PT Daya Labuhan Indah Pangkatan executes corporate social responsibility initiatives via environmental greening activities in three villages. Contributions comprise 200 mahogany seedlings, 100 glodokan trees, 100 mango saplings, and 200 hybrid coconut trees. In the education sector, PT Daya Labuhan Indah (Wonosari and Sei Deras estates) supplied landfill support to public junior high schools and contributed decorative stones to a local women's organisation. Furthermore, the corporation constructed two public restrooms and a borewell in adjacent settlements. Nonetheless, the application of CSR remains inconsistent and has yet to be institutionalised. It is conducted freely rather than as a formal requirement. The company continues to depend on its parent organisation, PT Wilmar Group, for corporate social responsibility projects. Significant impediments comprise the view of CSR as a fiscal encumbrance, insufficient allocated resources, lack of organised initiatives for community economic advancement, varying interpretations of CSR, and the belief that CSR is not a global imperative.

Abstract

This article discusses the effect of promotion on entrepreneurial outcomes carried out at the Agro Rimba Nusantara (AGRINA) Cooperative in Parsalakan village. Products from salak products are still difficult to find, especially Padangsidimpuan. It is still difficult to find in shops selling products from Koperasi Agro Rimba Nusantara (AGRINA). The lack of promotion made the public less familiar with the products marketed by the Agro Rimba Nusanta Cooperative (AGRINA). One solution that can be done is to increase promotions such as on social media, whether on Facebook, Instgram, Twitter, Whatsaap, joining buying and selling groups and even collaborating with shops in various regions. The purpose of holding this promotion is so that people are more familiar with the products made by the Agro Rimba Nusantara Cooperative (AGRINA) so that they can increase sales. The method of implementation is by presenting the material using the media percentage (PPT) through the help of Infocus, LCD and sound system. Meanwhile, the tools and materials used are print out of the material presented. The result of this activity was the enthusiasm of the participants at the Agro Rimba Nusantara Cooperative (AGRINA) in listening to the material presented by the speakers and the questions and answers between the presenters and the participants in the Agro Rimba Nusantara Koprasi, Parsalakan Village, Angkola Barat Tapanuli Selatan District.

Abstract

Batu Hula villages is one of the villages in kecamatan Batang Toru ,Kabupaten tapanuli selatan. Batu Hula Village is recorded to have a fairly high stunting rate, it is known that the latest data until August 2022 there are 2 children in Batu Hula Village who are indicated to be stunted. Stunting is caused by a lack of nutritional intake for a long time in the first 1000 days of life (HPK), which is a critical period, the lack of parental knowledge will greatly affect children's nutritional intake. So in this case, it is necessary to prevent stunting problems by providing understanding to the community in deciding the high stunting rate in Batu Hula Village. In this case, Batu Hula Village Stunting-Thematic KKN students carried out Stunting Counseling activities which were also coupled with the distribution of PMT (Supplementary Food Provision) for pregnant women and Toddler children aimed at increasing the knowledge of parents how important it is to maintain children's nutritional intake even during pregnancy to prevent stunting.

Abstract

English is the most widely used language in the world. As a result, it is crucial for students to learn English. To do it, someone must not have anxiety towards it. word "anxiety" refers to a state of fear, worry, or trepidation. It is a significant factor that influences how students learn in the classroom. The purpose of the study was to would like to analyse the students’ anxiety in learning English at the fourth semester students of midwifery department in Aufa Royhan university. The researcher used descriptive research studies to gather information about the current state of phenomena. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire to gather information from respondents about their interest towards English. The results showed that the internal factor indicators were motivation, lack of self-assurance, fear of making mistakes, reticence. The external factor indicators were a lack of vocabulary, grammar mistakes, friends or classmates, embarrassment, and lack of preparation. The overall result showed that students still had anxiety in learning English. So, they must improve their motivation especially towards English to help them have good achievements both in school or work later. Keywords: Anxiety, English, Students

Abstract

Latar belakang: Anti-Aging atau anti penuaan merupakan sediaan yang bertujuan untuk menghentikan proses degeneratif dikenal sebagai anti penuaan. Ekstrak kulit jeruk Sipirok dapat diformulasi kan sebagai krim anti-aging. Tujuan: Memformulasikan ekstrak kulit jeruk Sipirok dalam bentuk sediaan krim sebagai anti-aging serta uji aktivitasnya terhadap kulit wajah sukarelawan. Metode: Ekstrak kulit jeruk Sipirok dibuat dengan cara maserasi kemudian di formulasikan dalam sediaan krim dengan konsentrasi 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, dan 10% dengan dasar krim tipe minyak dalam air. Pengujian terhadap sediaan krim meliputi evaluasi stabilitas sediaan krim (bau, pH, homogenitas,daya sebar, dan daya lekat), uji iritasi dan uji aktivitas skin anti-aging menggunakan alat skin analyzer terhadap wajah sukarelawan. Parameter yang diukur seperti kadar air, besar pori, dan keriput selama 3 minggu. Hasil : Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa semua sediaan krim homogen, dengan tipe emulsi m/a, memiliki pH 5,3-6,5, stabil selama penyimpanan 3 minggu pada suhu ruang dan tidak mengiritasi kulit, dan menunjukkan adanya perubahan yang terjadi pada sukarelawan terlihat pada pengukuran kadar air, pori, dan keriput wajah sukarelawan. Peningkatan perubahan yang baik terdapat pada formula F4 (10%) pada uji kadar air yaitu 13%, pada uji pori yaitu 17%, dan pada uji parameter keriput yaitu 33%. Kesimpulan : Ekstrak kulit jeruk Sipirok dapat diformulasikan dalam sediaan krim anti-aging dan krim ekstrak kulit jeruk Sipirok dengan konsentrasi 10% menunjukkan aktivitas anti-aging yang terbaik.
