Abstract

Population growth remains a critical issue for Indonesia, leading to the government’s implementation of the Family Planning (Keluarga Berencana) program, which promotes contraceptive use to control fertility and improve reproductive health. In rural Muslim communities such as Sukarapih Village, Bekasi, the program encounters moral and cultural resistance shaped by religious interpretation and social norms. This study examines how the government’s contraceptive policy is implemented and morally negotiated within this religiously conservative context, focusing on its influence on adolescent understanding and behavior. Using a qualitative descriptive design, the research was conducted from March to May 2024 through eighteen in-depth interviews and two focus group discussions with religious leaders, midwives, parents, and adolescents. Thematic analysis identified five key patterns: knowledge and misconceptions, religious gatekeeping, service delivery, family supervision, and peer influence. Findings reveal that contraceptive policy implementation operates through moral negotiation among health institutions, families, and religious authorities. While health workers adapt counseling to emphasize health protection, religious leaders and parents maintain control over adolescents’ moral development. Contraceptive access thus functions as both a public health initiative and a moral discourse shaped by community values. The study concludes that policy success depends not only on service provision but also on alignment with religious and ethical frameworks. Culturally sensitive approaches that integrate Islamic moral principles, family engagement, and adolescent education can strengthen both reproductive health outcomes and moral integrity in Muslim-majority rural settings.

Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural memegang peranan krusial dalam menghadapi tantangan global dalam ruang kelas. Artikel ini, berjudul "Pendidikan Multikultural di Kelas Global: Strategi Pengajaran Responsif Budaya," membahas strategi pengajaran yang responsif terhadap keragaman budaya dalam konteks global. Pendidikan multikultural bukan sekadar mengakui keberagaman, tetapi juga mengajarkan keterampilan dan pemahaman yang dibutuhkan untuk berinteraksi dengan dunia yang semakin terhubung. Artikel ini mengidentifikasi beberapa strategi pengajaran yang efektif untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang responsif budaya. Pertama, pendekatan pengajaran harus mengakui dan menghargai latar belakang budaya siswa. Guru perlu memahami keberagaman bahasa, nilai, dan norma-norma budaya yang membentuk identitas siswa. Kedua, kurikulum harus dirancang untuk mencerminkan keragaman global. Materi pembelajaran harus mencakup berbagai perspektif budaya untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang dunia kepada siswa. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi dapat menjadi alat yang kuat untuk mendukung pendidikan multikultural di kelas global. Platform pembelajaran daring dapat menghadirkan sumber daya yang mencakup budaya dari seluruh dunia, membantu siswa memahami realitas global lebih baik. Pemanfaatan teknologi juga memungkinkan koneksi lintas batas antara kelas-kelas di seluruh dunia, menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih menyeluruh dan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman praktis dan konseptual tentang pendidikan multikultural di era globalisasi. Dengan mengintegrasikan strategi pengajaran responsif budaya, artikel ini mengajak para pendidik untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan kelas yang semakin heterogen dan menyiapkan siswa untuk berpartisipasi dalam masyarakat global dengan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang keragaman budaya.

Abstract

The taklim assembly, as a forum for Muslims to deepen religious teachings, plays a strategic role in fostering a profound understanding of Islam and cultivating a strong religious spirit. Beyond serving as a platform for religious education, the taklim assembly also contributes to shaping virtuous and ethical social behaviors, which are pivotal in navigating various societal changes. This research content to ascertain the effect of the Religious Program on Community Religious Behavior, the Influence of Religious Spirit on Community Religious Behavior, and the combined influence of the Taklim Assembly's Religious Program and Religious Spirit on Community Religious Behavior at the Taklim Walawrod Azzahro Lemahabang Assembly, Bekasi Regency, West Java. This study employs quantitative research methods at the Taklim Walawrod Azzahro Lemahabang assembly, with a population of 30. Data collection involves the use of questionnaire instruments and documentation, with the entire population serving as the sample. Data analysis utilizes multiple linear regression analysis through IBM SPSS 26, employing T-test (for partial hypothesis testing) and F-test (for simultaneous hypothesis testing) methods. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that Religious Programs significantly influence Religious Behavior, with a T-count value of (2.919) exceeding the T-table value (2.052). Similarly, Religious Spirit significantly impacts Religious Behavior, with a T-count value of (3.465) surpassing the T-table value (2.052). Overall, both the Religious Program and Religious Spirit variables together exert a significant influence on Religious Behavior, as indicated by an F-count value of (52.743) against an F-table value of (3.354). In conclusion, the Religious Program conducted by the Taklim Council influences Community Religious Behavior, as does the Religious Spirit fostered within the Taklim Council. Together, the Religious Program and Religious Spirit of the Taklim Council shape Community Religious Behavior.
