Abstract

The advancement of digital technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) has significantly transformed various service sectors, including the traditionally manual laundry industry. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of Laundrify.Id, a coin laundry business based on IoT, to be implemented in Podomoro City Apartment, West Jakarta. The evaluation covers four major aspects: market potential, technical feasibility, financial viability, and socio-environmental impact. The research method used is a case study with a quantitative-descriptive approach. Primary data were collected through a survey of 100 apartment residents, while secondary data were obtained from literature reviews and analysis of similar businesses. The feasibility analysis includes Break Even Point (BEP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Return on Investment (ROI), and SWOT analysis to identify the business's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results show that 86% of respondents expressed interest in using Laundrify.Id, citing digital payment systems, 24-hour self-service access, and time efficiency as their main preferences. From a technical perspective, the use of IoT-enabled washing machines and QR code payment systems is considered effective and well-suited to modern living. Financially, the business is projected to reach BEP within five months, with a positive NPV of IDR 128.8 million and an IRR of 30%, indicating strong profitability and investment appeal. This study offers an original contribution by developing an empirical business model that integrates IoT, digital transactions, and sustainability principles. Furthermore, the model holds potential for replication in other urban areas with similar demographic and lifestyle characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cost efficiency of electrical component material procurement at PT Kimindo Jaya Indonesia through the implementation of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Safety Stock, and Reorder Point (ROP) methods. A quantitative approach was applied using data from ten key components used in the assembly process of power distribution panels. Calculations were conducted to determine the optimal order quantity, safety stock level, and reorder point. The findings indicate that implementing the EOQ, Safety Stock, and ROP methods reduced the company’s annual inventory cost from IDR 5,740,000 to IDR 3,900,000, achieving a 32% cost efficiency. These results highlight the importance of measurable inventory policies in maintaining supply continuity and cost efficiency in project-based companies. Future research is recommended to integrate digital forecasting systems to enhance material procurement accuracy.

Abstract

This study was motivated by recurring failures of the EP-28 press machine that potentially reduced system reliability and operational effectiveness despite a relatively high OEE value. The objective was to analyze machine reliability and effectiveness and to develop a maintenance strategy based on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). This quantitative study used downtime data from April to September 2025 as the research sample. Reliability parameters, including MTBF, MTTR, availability, and OEE, were calculated, and FMEA was applied to identify critical components and root causes of failure. The results indicate an MTBF of 5,169.44 minutes, MTTR of 207.22 minutes, availability of 96.15%, and OEE of 87.94%. The most critical components were the motor drive and cylinder. The proposed strategy emphasizes condition-based maintenance and adjustment of time-based maintenance intervals to improve failure risk control and sustain machine performance.
