Abstract

This study employs bibliometric analysis to explore the global research landscape of crop diversification, highlighting the significant contributions and collaborations among countries in addressing the challenges of agricultural sustainability and food security. Through the utilization of VOSviewer, the research maps out intricate networks of international collaborations and identifies key regional and global players in the field. The findings illustrate a robust pattern of interconnected research efforts, with the United States, India, and the United Kingdom acting as central hubs. The study reveals the interdisciplinary nature of crop diversification research, incorporating aspects of genetics, soil science, and climate change adaptation. Despite robust collaborations, the study also addresses challenges such as resource disparities between developed and developing nations and cultural and regulatory barriers that could hinder effective knowledge exchange. The conclusion emphasizes the need for equitable research partnerships and the integration of advanced agricultural technologies with traditional practices to enhance food security in a changing climate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of Banana chips supply chain management in Dahlia MSMEs, Gorontalo City in August-September 2022. This research method is a case study using primary and secondary data types. Data analysis techniques used in this study is the analysis of Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) which then the calculation results will be compared with the data Benchmark. The results showed that of the 4 attributes with 7 assessment indicators only 4 indicators are in the superior category, namely perfect order fulfillment, delivery performance, cash to cash cycle and order fulfillment cycle while the other 3 indicators are volume flexibility, lead time and daily inventory are in the advantage category with the total cost used for Banana chips supply chain process is IDR. 7,560,000 in one production process. The impact for managerial is because the lead time that has not reached a superior position has a strong relationship with volume flexibility where long waiting times will result in the inability of the supply chain to maintain the flexibility of production volume, of course, this will have an impact on daily inventory, because it still have to wait for the schedule for the delivery of raw materials plus the production and marketing process.

Abstract

The agricultural sector plays a strategic role in developing countries, including Indonesia. This sector employs a large workforce in both the formal and informal sectors. Its contribution to both the national and regional economies cannot be underestimated. As one of the flagship programs of READSI (Rural Empowerment and Agricultural Development Scaling-Up Initiative), it aims to improve the welfare of farmers through their economic empowerment. Bone Bolango Regency is one of the regions participating in this program and has implemented the following components: Rural Agriculture and Livelihood Development, Improved Extension Services, Provision of Agricultural Inputs and Marketing Support, Availability of Policy and Development Strategy Support, and Program Management Support. Therefore, a study is needed to assess the effectiveness of the READSI program and identify its constraints. This study was conducted in Bone Bolango Regency using qualitative descriptive analysis in accordance with the Miles and Huberman model, which involves data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. There were 22 informants consisting of stakeholders (the Head of the Agency and extension workers), actors (READSI program facilitators), and program beneficiaries (farmers’ group leaders and farmers). The results of this study indicate that: 1). The evaluation of the READSI program’s effectiveness, as assessed from the input aspect (budgetary support, extension workers, and production facilities), the process aspect (implemented using a participatory approach and group-based learning), and the output aspect (farmers experienced increased income). 2). The factors hindering the implementation of the READSI Program include: low technology adoption rates among farmers, limited production facilities and supporting infrastructure, delays in aid distribution, lack of support from the village government, and limited market access.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology is a key factor in improving the efficiency and transparency of services in the agribusiness sector. This study aims to formulate a development strategy for the Service Activity Information System (SIAP) application to optimize service quality for stakeholders. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis instrument. The results indicate that the SIAP application is positioned in Quadrant I (Progressive Strategy) on the SWOT matrix, suggesting that the organization possesses significant internal strengths and substantial external opportunities for expansion. Based on this positioning, the study recommends two primary strategies first Intensive Digitalization-Based Service Expansion which focuses on developing more diverse and user-friendly service features to reach a broader user base, Second Strengthening Legitimacy through the Integration of the One Data Policy, to ensure information synchronization and data validity across all levels of agribusiness administration.
