Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Setiap rumah sakit memiliki pegawai atau Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dengan kompetensi masing-masing yang nantinya membantu rumah sakit dalam mewujudkan visi dan misinya, termasuk Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle di Kabupaten Takalar. RSUD Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle merupakan salah satu rumah sakit dengan SDM yang cukup memadai, khususnya tenaga perawat. Terkait peningkatan kinerja dan produktivitas SDM, salah satu model ukur yang dapat digunakan didasarkan pada analisis pengaruh kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja melalui motivasi kerja. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis kinerja perawat di RSUD Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle berdasarkan pengaruh kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja melalui motivasi kerja. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan Cross Sectional Study dan analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung variabel eksogen terhadap variabel endogen. Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja maupun motivasi perawat. Begitu pun secara tidak langsung kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi perawat. Kesimpulan: Kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perawat baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dengan faktor yang paling berpengaruh adalah kepuasan perawat melalui motivasi kerja pada taraf signifikansi 5%. ABSTRACT Background: Each hospital has employees or Human Resources (HR) with their respective competencies that will help the hospital in realizing its vision and mission, including the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle in Takalar Regency. RSUD Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle is one of the hospitals with sufficient human resources, especially nurses. Related to improving HR performance and productivity, one of the measurement models that can be used is based on analyzing the influence of competence and job satisfaction through work motivation. Objective: To analyze the performance of nurses at RSUD Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle based on the influence of competence and job satisfaction through work motivation. Method: The research method used is quantitative research with Cross Sectional Study design and data analysis using path analysis to determine the direct and indirect effects of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. Results: Showed that competence and job satisfaction had a direct effect on nurse performance and motivation. Likewise, indirectly competence and job satisfaction affect performance through nurse motivation. Conclusion: That competence and job satisfaction have a significant effect on nurse performance both directly and indirectly with the most influential factor being nurse satisfaction through work motivation at the 5% significance level.

Abstract

The integration of digital gamified learning has emerged as a transformative pedagogical innovation in higher education, particularly in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction. This study examined the effect of gamified learning platforms, specifically Quizizz, on tertiary-level EFL students’ motivation and academic performance. Employing a quasi-experimental design, 80 undergraduate students were assigned to either an experimental group (n = 40), which received instruction through gamified activities, or a control group (n = 40), which engaged in conventional learning methods. Data were obtained through pre- and post-tests alongside a standardized motivation scale. Independent samples t-tests demonstrated that the experimental group significantly outperformed the control group in both motivation (t(78) = 4.52, p < .001) and performance (t(78) = 5.11, p < .001). The results indicated a substantial improvement in the experimental group’s post-test scores (M = 85.47, SD = 4.62) compared to the control group (M = 78.15, SD = 5.08). Similarly, motivational levels increased markedly, with higher mean ratings reported by the experimental cohort. These findings underscore the efficacy of digital gamification as a pedagogical tool to enhance learner engagement and achievement in EFL contexts. The study not only reinforces the relevance of integrating gamified approaches in tertiary language education but also provides empirical evidence for their role in sustaining motivation and improving performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing a website-based hotel reservation information system at Hotel Meganita on operational efficiency and service quality. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the Waterfall model. System testing was conducted using black-box testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT). The results indicate that the implementation of the website-based reservation system increased room booking process efficiency by 87.5%, reduced reservation recording errors from 15 cases to 2 cases per month, and improved customer satisfaction levels from 72% to 94%. In addition, the system provides 24/7 reservation access, thereby expanding customer reach. Therefore, the website-based reservation information system has a significant positive impact on the operational performance of Hotel Meganita.

Abstract

Employee performance plays an important role in determining the quality of public services and governance processes, especially at the sub-district level, which acts as the final part of the state administration system. At the Kalumpang Sub-district Office, Mamuju Regency, several challenges such as difficult geographical conditions, limited facilities, and differences in employee backgrounds can affect overall performance. Issues related to employee performance are not only related to the achievement of work targets, but also reflect the organization's ability to communicate internally, build a good working atmosphere, and maximize the potential of its employees. Therefore, this research is important to understand in depth the internal factors of the organization that affect employee performance.This study aims to analyze the influence of communication, organizational culture, and human resource capabilities on employee performance at the Kalumpang Subdistrict Office, both individually and collectively.The approach used is quantitative with a survey method, in which all employees are research respondents. Data is collected through questionnaires based on relevant theoretical indicators, which have been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis is carried out using multiple linear regression to identify the level of relationship and the magnitude of the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable, thereby producing an overview. This study shows that communication has a positive and significant impact on employee work effectiveness. This indicates that clear instructions, accurate information delivery, and the intensity of communication between superiors and employees are still the main factors in determining success in carrying out tasks. In addition, organizational culture also has a major influence on work effectiveness, especially in terms of discipline, commitment to work, and teamwork, which have not been fully internalized evenly in the Kalumpang Subdistrict Office environment. Human resource capabilities have been proven to have the greatest influence on employee work effectiveness.
