AbstractThe purpose of the research is to know the effect of demonstration methods on student IPA learning outcomes. The research was a quasi eksperimen design types non-equivalent control group design. The population was all student class V the SDN Gugus 1 Kec. Sungai Pua Kab. Agam. Taking technique of sample was purposive sampling. The sample of this research was student class VA and VB SDN 14 Simpang Ampek. Based on the analisys, obtained tcount>ttable was 3,0138 > 2,0211 with significant level α = 0,05 so it can be conclude Ha accepted that there is an affect of the demonstration method on the learning outcomes of students in the class V SDN Gugus 1 Kec. Sungai Pua Kab. Agam. Keywords: Demonstration Method, Learning Outcome IPA.

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the use of process skills approach to the learning outcomes of green plant material in the fifth grade. Types of this research was an experimental research with a quasi-experimental design and form design posttest only control group design. Population of this research was all students in the fifth grade. Sampling technique using saturated sampling. These samples included 52 people. Instrument of this research was used a test. Based on the test results of normality and homogenity of the posttest data, known both classes of data samples have normal distribution and homogeneous variance. After that, from the calculation hypothesis test obtained tprice of 2.23 and a price ttable with t(0.05; 50) at a significance level of 0.05 and df = 50 is 2.00856. These results indicate that the tprice > ttable, so H0 was rejected and Ha acceptable. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is significant effect in the use of process skills approach to the learning outcomes of green plant material in the fifth grade.

The aim of this research was to describe the improvement of student’s learning outcomes in learning Natural Science by using Experiment method at 4th grade of Pincuran Tinggi Panyalaian. The subject of this research were the teacher and the students (20 students). The result of this research showed that a) there was an improvement at the lesson plan design from 85,71%% in cycle I into 94,63% in cycle II, b) in term of teacher’s aspect, the percentage enchanced from 77,5%% in cycle II to 92,5% in cycle II. Meanwhile, in term of the student’s aspect, the percentage increased from 75% in cycle I to 87,5% in cycle II, c) the student’s outcomes improved from 78,2% in cycle I to 87,7% in cycle II. The purpose of the research is to know differences about student’s achievement in addition and subtraction of two fractions with different denominators by using cooperative model with STAD and TAI types. The design of the research is quasi experiment in the from pretest-posttest non-equivalent group. The sample of the research is class VA andclass VB at Elementary School 38 Lubuk Sao that have chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The result of research found that there is differences about student’s achievement in learning mathematic by using cooperative model STAD type and cooperative model TAI type tcount (1,80664)>ttable (1,69726). This means that students’ achievement by using cooperative model STAD type better than students’ achievement by using cooperatuve model TAI type in learning mathematics. The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in learning natural science by using inquiry learning strategy in the fourth grade. This was a classroom action research which applied qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of the research was teacher and 15 students. The students’ average score improve from 68,26 (adequate) in the first cycle into 76,49 (adequate) in the second cycle. It means the inquiry learning strategy successfully improves the students’ outcomes in learning natural science in the fourth grade of Elemantary School. Keywords : inquiry learning strategy

This study is aimed at improving the students' learning outcomes in Math in grade IV of SDN No. 05 Pasar Baru Bayang through the implementation of the constructivism approach. The result of the RPP evaluation shows that there is an increase in the students' learning outcomes from approximately 81% in cycle one to 89% in cycle two. Evaluation on the teachers' activities reveals that the scores improved from 75% in cycle one to 89% in cycle two. Evaluation on the students' activities improved from 73% in cycle one to 89% in cycle two. Thus, it can be concluded that the constructivism approach works well in improving the students' learning outcomes in Math. Kata kunci : hasil, pembelajaran matematika, pendekatan kontruktivisme

The aim of the research is to describe the learning outcome of the “shape and space of Geometry” by using Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach at 5th grade of SDN 08 Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi. The subjects of the research were the teacher and 21 students of the school. The result of the research show that there is an improvement on stundents learning outcome. In cycle I the average score is 72.46%, while in cycle II is 87.75%. thus, the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach has improved the students learning outcome in leraning the topic of shape and space geometry at 5th grade of SDN 08 Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi.Keywords: Learning outcomes, shape and space of geometry, Contextual Teaching and Learning approaches

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of learning with the Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) to the learning outcomes of students in learning science in Grades V Cluster III Elementary School District IV Koto second semester of the academic year 2017/2018. This research was conducted on the material describing the properties of light. This type of research uses quantitative research by using experimental methods, and experimental research design quasy. The research population numbered 121 students and sample by using cluster sampling. The sample was 60 students. According to the research that has been done, then obtained t> t table ie 8.212> 2.001 with α = 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected. The average student learning outcomes as measured by the posttest after learning, that the experimental class 86 and 70. So, Ha accepted that there are significant learning model using Problem Based Learning (PBL) to the learning outcomes of students in learning science in Class V SD Cluster III Kecamatan IV Koto.

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of students’ learning result by using the constructivism approach. This research was a classroom research using qualitative and quantitative approach. The subject of the research were teacher and 25 students. The result in cycle I lesson plane assessment was 77%, teacher’s activity was 73%, student’s activity74%, and the learning result was 46%. It improved in cycle II became 97%, 86%, 93% and 82%. In conclusion, constructivism approach in learning science subject was success to improve the student’s learning result in elementary school.
