Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to examine Djalaluddin Thain's contribution to Islamic Religious Education in Minangkabau. H. Djalaluddin Thaib is someone who only has a "soerau" education, he has advanced in the fields of journalism, socio-economics, became the driving force for the unity of Islamic universities and eventually became the leader of the people's movement that rocked the atmosphere of political struggle in Indonesia. Jalaluddin Thaib's thoughts in the field of Islamic education are generally strategic in nature and are pioneering works, this was very rarely done by previous Islamic educators. This type of research is library research and data comes from several secondary and tertiary sources. literature related to Jalaluddin Thaib's thought and its relevance to modern education. This study is more focused on the attention and commitment of Jalaluddin Thaib in fighting for Indonesian independence and the development of Islamic education which can be seen further in several aspects of Islamic education thinking, including in terms of Islamic Education, goals, curriculum, teaching methods of educators. and Islamic Religious Education institutions.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to look at the concept of integrated Islamic education in Indonesia. Integrated Islamic schools emerged as a form of response to the dissatisfaction of Islamic movement activists with the national education system in Indonesia. The national education system is considered to perpetuate dualism in the management of education between religious and general education. Therefore, an alternative educational institution model is needed that is able to eliminate the existence of dichotomous educational practices. The conclusion results can be understood that the Integrated Islamic School is an integral part of the national education system. Its relationship with the space of Islamic education. Islamic educational institutions consisting of pesantren , madrasas and public schools are slowly starting to change. Integrated Islamic boarding schools are likely to emerge as an alternative solution to Islam. Learn about the agitation of urban Muslim communities in cities for an Islamic institution that stands out. The integration of Islamic schools was born as an answer to various demands and problems of the local people and it is the dream and hope of the government to combine these two schools into a unitary spirit that combines general education with Islamic education.

Abstract

Writing this article aims to examine the phenomenon of diversity which has become the nature of the Indonesian nation including the Minangkabau in dealing with the changing times which have given birth to new cultures and habits in the midst of a society whose basis is already diverse. The writing method used in this study is a literature study with data sources obtained through books, scientific papers,articles, websites which are collected and analyzed. The results of the research show that Minangkabau custom is a custom that is based on values ​​originating. That value is contained in the customs carried out by the community so that they become human beings with a dignified value and ethics. If we talk about changing times, there will be no Minangkabau custom that can change it. Minangkabau custom also teaches about "raso, pareso, courtesy, manners". which is the most important part of human life because with that feeling a good and harmonious relationship will be established. So that multicultural education has been reflected in the daily life of the Minangkabau people such as going abroad to seek knowledge, making nature a teacher and for self-prosperity, mutual cooperation, tolerance between tribes senagari and even countrymen.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to provide an overview of the role of professional educators in the Qur'an. In Islam, all work must be done professionally in the sense that it must be done correctly. Only professionals can do this. for this reason, writing this article will examine professional teachers in the Koran and Hadith as a guide for human life in this upfront. This research method is a qualitative research with a literature study approach. Teacher professionalism in the Koran shows that teachers must have democratic characteristics, be patient and gentle in carrying out their noble duties, forgive and be consistent in their duties and responsibilities, be able to work together (cooperatively) and be compassionate both in action and in the form of prayer. In addition, professional teachers are also required to be able to understand the psychology of students, emulate the manners of Rasulullah SAW in the learning process and master knowledge in their field.
