Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the contextuality between the Qur'an and science regarding the process of human creation. This study used a qualitative method through literature study, using a reproductive health theory approach and mauḍu'î interpretation. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the process of creating humans after Prophet Adam went through reproduction, among the phases of which were nuṭfah, 'alaqah, muḍgah, making bones, forming muscles, then perfecting them by blowing the spirit into the best form. Whereas in science, according to Sadler, the phases are gametogonesis, the ovulation process to implantation, then the bilaminar gem disc, the embryonic period, up to the time of delivery. According to Dudek, they are prefertilization, weekly period, embryonic period, and organogenesis. This study concludes that the process of human creation in the Qur'an is in accordance with the findings of today's modern scientists. This study recommends that scientific verses be disclosed using scientific commentary books

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to know the concept of multicultural education and inclusive education. This study uses the method of literature review. The results showed that: 1) The dimensions of Multicultural Education: content integration, the knowledge construction process, a pedagogy, prejudice reduction, 2) The Functions of Multicultural Education: giving a clear self-concept, helping to understand the experiences of ethnic and cultural groups in terms of history, helping to understand that conflicts between ideals and reality exist in every society, helping to develop decision making, social participation, and citizenship skills, recognizing diversity in language use. 3) Inclusive Education Foundation, 4) Philosophical Foundation: The Indonesian nation is a cultured nation with the national symbol Garuda Bird, a universal viewof human rights , 5) Juridical Basis: UUD 1945 (Amendment) Ps. 31, Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, Ps. 48, Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, 6) Empirical Basis: Declaration of Human Rights, 1948, Convention on the Rights of the Child, 1989, World Conference on Education for All, 1990, UN Resolution number 48/96 of 1993 To achieve the goal of multicultural education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze Islamic integration in learning science about human reproduction at Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau State Islamic University. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through field research, using the integration of science and Islam in human reproduction material. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the learning process that has been implemented has not fully implemented the integration of science and Islam in learning human reproduction. This can be seen in the learning tools that each sub-discussion has not been fully integrated with the Koran, and the learning process has not been fully refined with the uluhiyah messages contained in the Koran. This study recommends that learning in Islamic tertiary institutions carry out the integration of science and Islam.
