Abstract

Children in orphanages often face challenges in the form of low self-efficacy, lack of exploration of potential, and a mindset that fulfilling basic needs is enough to survive, this condition inhibits their readiness towards social and economic independence. This service programme was carried out at Panti Asuhan Nurul Iman, Pontianak, with the aim of equipping foster children through experiential learning. The series of activities included entrepreneurship education, visits and mentoring by MSME partner Kopi Bubuk Bang Azis, market surveys in the Car Free Day (CFD) area, and practice selling products made by participants. Evaluation was conducted through observation, debriefing, and pre-post intervention questionnaires. The results showed a significant increase from 4 children who understood the basic concepts of entrepreneurship to 19 children after the programme. The success of selling out all products is a concrete validation of the effectiveness of experiential learning methods. Overall, this programme succeeded in increasing the understanding of entrepreneurship, building self-confidence, and instilling a foundation of socio-economic independence for the foster children of Nurul Iman Orphanage.

SMEs managed by students as entrepreneurs play a role in pushing innovation, growing economy, and creating fieldwork in the community. Students often have a better understanding of technology and trends, which allows them to utilise opportunities overlooked by older generations. Research aims to study the influence of social media adoption on the performance of student entrepreneurial small businesses. The research method used is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with the help of AMOS statistics to test the connection between the independent and dependent, supporting the hypothesis proposed. Data were collected through a questionnaire with 220 respondents consisting of student entrepreneurs who have been operating a business for at least 1 year and adopting social media. Abstract

This study aims to identify and synthesize the factors that affect Generation Z's job satisfaction through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This review analyzes 20 quantitative scientific articles published in the Scopus indexed journal Q1–Q4 quartile in the 2015–2025 range. The study selection process follows the PRISMA guidelines with the support of the Watase Uwake application to ensure transparency and replication of the literature screening procedure. The data obtained were then analyzed using a thematic synthesis approach to group the determinants of job satisfaction into organizational clusters, leadership, job characteristics, and individual psychological factors. The results of the study show that work flexibility is the most consistent determinant in increasing job satisfaction of Generation Z. Other factors that play a significant role include the quality of adaptive leadership, a fair reward system, career development opportunities, meaningful job design, and employee psychological well-being. In contrast, work stress, burnout, and job insecurity have consistently been shown to lower job satisfaction levels. This research makes a theoretical contribution by systematically mapping the determinants of job satisfaction of Generation Z and integrating previously fragmented empirical findings, thereby strengthening the understanding of job satisfaction as a multidimensional construct in the context of the younger generation workforce.
