Abstract

Table tennis is a sport that has been popular in the community and loved by the community. This can be seen both in cities and in the countryside, where people of different ages participate in table tennis games, both men and women. The purpose of using this method is to obtain information by the power of scientific sources. This research review is taken from journals, articles, books or literature reviews that are relevant to the content of related problems. Analysis data collection techniques using Google Scholar Database, Science Direct and Pubmed. Meta-analysis is a method for summarizing various research results quantitatively. After reviewing research materials from selected journals, the next step is to analyze and discuss the journal. In this review, 10 journals were examined in an article analysis, consisting of five international journals and five national journals Peer-reviewed journals have publication years between 2015 and 2022. experiments, surveys, and meta - Analysis is used as a research method. The average subject in this study was about 5 to 40 subjects. Based on a review of data analysis results from 10 journals, it can be concluded that training using the multiball method can provide results and increase skills or skills in forehand drive and backhand drive of table tennis games

Abstract

Physical education in elementary schools plays a crucial role in developing healthy lifestyle habits and improving children's physical fitness. The Senam Indonesia Hebat (Great Indonesian Gymnastics) program is a structured physical activity innovation that can be integrated into physical education (PJOK) learning to improve motor skills, physical activity, and reduce students' sedentary behavior. This study used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group that participated in an eight-week gymnastics program and a control group that continued with conventional PJOK learning. The sample consisted of 60 fourth-sixth grade elementary school students. Data were collected through physical fitness tests, physical activity questionnaires, and observations of sedentary behavior, then analyzed using descriptive analysis and t-tests. The results showed a significant increase in the experimental group compared to the control group, both in muscle strength (24.7 ± 3.5 vs. 20.1 ± 3.2), endurance (17.6 ± 3.1 vs. 14.0 ± 2.8), agility (18.4 ± 2.9 vs. 15.2 ± 2.6), balance (14.9 ± 2.4 vs. 12.0 ± 2.1), duration of physical activity (78 ± 12 minutes/day vs. 55 ± 10 minutes/day), and reduction in sedentary behavior (145 ± 15 minutes/day vs. 195 ± 16 minutes/day). The results of this study prove that the integration of Senam Indonesia Hebat into PJOK learning is effective in improving physical fitness and can encourage physical activity in elementary school students. Abstract

Floor gymnastics is one of the basic movement activities in physical education that requires physical ability, coordination, and good technical mastery. One of the fundamental movements in floor gymnastics is the candle position. This study aims to analyze neuromuscular balance and foot anatomy in the candle position in floor gymnastics. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design, which aims to analyze the relationship between neuromuscular balance and foot anatomy in relation to the quality of the candle position in floor gymnastics. The research subjects consisted of students who had basic experience in floor gymnastics. Subject selection was carried out using purposive sampling techniques, with inclusion criteria including: 1. healthy physical condition 2. no lower extremity injuries 3. able to perform the candle position independently. Neuromuscular balance was measured using static balance tests, such as the stork stand test or balance error scoring system (BESS), which have been proven to be valid and reliable in evaluating postural control and neuromuscular stability. The results of this study show a mutually supportive relationship between neuromuscular balance and foot anatomy, where good foot condition improves the effectiveness of proprioceptive sensors and force distribution, thereby facilitating body posture control in inverted positions. Thus, it is confirmed that the synergy between neuromuscular control and foot anatomy is a major factor in the success of the candle pose, making attention to both aspects very important in learning and practicing floor exercises.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between eye-hand coordination and agility on groundstroke skills in beginner tennis players. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research subjects consisted of 30 beginner tennis players selected using purposive sampling. The independent variables in this study were eye-hand coordination and agility, while the dependent variable was groundstroke skills. The instruments used included a ball throw-catch test against a wall to measure hand-eye coordination, the Illinois Agility Test to measure agility, and forehand and backhand accuracy tests to measure groundstroke skills. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, Pearson Product Moment correlation test, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between hand-eye coordination and groundstroke skills (r = 0.62; p < 0.05) and a significant negative relationship between agility and groundstroke skills (r = −0.58; p < 0.05). The multiple regression results showed that eye-hand coordination and agility simultaneously contributed significantly to groundstroke skills with a coefficient of determination of 54%. Thus, it can be concluded that eye-hand coordination and agility are important factors that influence groundstroke skills in tennis players.
