Abstract

Touch terapy merupakan gabungan bentuk stimulasi raba dan gerak yang bisa dilakukan oleh orang tua selama 15 menit. Manfaat dari touch terapy adalah meningkatkan kesehatan balita sehingga pertumbuhan dan perkembangan balita optimal. Di desa Gayaman terdapat ibu yang tidak mengetahui tentang touch terapy sehingga touch terapy masih dilakukan oleh dukun bayi. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan pemberian pendidikan kesehatan dan pendampingan dalam mempraktikkan touch terapy. Prosedur kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dimulai dari tim melakukan koordinasi dengan mitra. Kemudian menyiapkan meteri pelatihan dan memberikan pembekalan ke mahasiswa sebagai tim pendamping. Pelaksanaan di awali dengan memberikan materi touch terapy dengan metode ceramah, pemutaran video, dan demonstrasi touch terapy. Kemudian peserta diminta untuk mempraktikkan touch terapy. Hasil temuan yang diperoleh adalah terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dan pendampingan dalam mempraktikkan touch terapy sehingga peserta mampu melakukan touch terapy secara baik dan benar.

Abstract

Every natural disaster must cause losses and impacts in the affected area, as well as flooding. Among them are the spread of various germs, loss of property, agriculture, crops, or damaged fields, public facilities, facilities, and infrastructure to be damaged. The purpose of this study was to analyze economic factors, environmental sanitation, nutritional and psychological status of children on children's development in flood-prone areas of Gayaman Village. In this study, the population is all families who have children in flood-prone areas of Gayaman Village. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the rho spearmen test. The results showed that most children with good psychology with normal development there were 56 respondents (54.9%) with the statistical test results p-value 0.002 the value of the closeness of the relationship was 0.301, meaning that there is a close relationship between child psychology and child development. Respondents were mostly in good environmental sanitation with child normal development to 60 respondents (58.8%). Statistical test results p-value 0.008 the value of the closeness of the relationship is 0.262, meaning that there is a close relationship between environmental sanitation and child development. High socioeconomic with child normal development to 32 respondents (31.4%) with a p-value of 0.079 a closeness value of 0.175, meaning that there is no significant relationship between family economic conditions and child development. The nutritional status of children is mostly good with normal child development of 66 respondents (64.7%) with a p-value of 0.019, a closeness value of 0.232, meaning that there is a close relationship between nutritional status and child development. Good nutritional status in childhood will affect subsequent child development because by providing good nutrition the child is not easily sick and development is optimal.

Abstract

Infancy started from 0-12 months which was characterized by rapid growth and physical changes accompanied by changes in nutritional needs to optimize the growth and development of the baby by providing touch, motion and other stimulation combinations. The research was purposed to know the effect of Touch Therapy on nutritional status and development on infants in Gayaman Village, Mojokerto Regency. The research design used one group pre-post test design. The population were infants in Gayaman Village, Mojokerto Regency, 70 respondents. The sample was 69 infants (0-18 months) in Gayaman Village, Mojokerto Regency, who were obtained by purposive sampling. Measuring instruments were used to assess nutritional status and denver II forms to assess the progress. The research was done on July 28 to August 25, 2018. Statistical test used Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that nutritional status before being given touch therapy was normal as many as 57 (83%) respondents, and the development after being given touch therapy increased to 66 (96%) respondents. The development before being given touch therapy was normal as many as 27 (39%) respondents with ρ = 0.003. This showed that there was an effect on touch therapy to their nutritional status. The nutritional status after being given a touch therapy increased to 57 (83%) respondents with ρ = 0.008. This showed that there was an effect of touch therapy on their development. Massaging was a fun way to help strengthening the bond between mother and child. This was the key to baby's development.

Abstract

Memory is used for building self-reliance and self-confidence in children. Memory disorders will complicate learning process and cause health problems for children. Exercise activities will familiarize children to maintain the main cognitive function of the brain and can help them to achieve achievement. This study aims to determine the influence of brain gymnastic to learning achievement on Al-Akbar Islamic Elementary School students Mojokerto. This research was done with quasi-experiment method with "Pretest-Postest with Control Group Design" in Islamic Elementary School of Al-Akbar Mojokerto. The sample was determined purposively, with 50 students. Brain gymnastic was done 6 times a week for 4 weeks with 7-10 minutes in each exercise, while the child's learning achievement was measured by the test score. The instruments in the study used observational data on brain exercise and reports on children's learning achievement Data were analyzed by using Wilcoxon Mann Whitney test with SPSS for Windows. The results showed that learning achievement before brain gymnastics was mostly satisfying amounted to 32 respondents (97%) in treatment group and for control group were mostly very satisfying amounted to 9 respondents (28%) in. The learning achievement after brain exercises for 4 weeks was mostly very satisfying 29 respondents (88 %) in treatment group, while in control group, almost half respondents were rated satisfying amounted to 16 respondents (49%). Data result with Man Witney got p value 0,008, meant there was influence of brain gymnastics in improving learning achievement. By doing simple movement has already activate brain cells and increase blood flow to the brain so student can receive knowledge that provided by teachers and increase learning concentration.

Abstract

Coronavirus became outbreak that worsened day by day, it needed serious handling that had to be done by government to solve the problem soon, and every people had to implement social distancing to defeat this Covid-19 pandemic. The study aimed to analyze the effect of online interactive play on social development of school age children during social distancing. The population of this study was all students (146 students) in Gambiran Elementary School, Mojoagung sub-district. The sampling technique that used in this study was total sampling with 146 samples and analized by wilcoxon signed Rank test. The result showed that before the interactive game, social development of school age children were categorized less as many as 23 students (16.7%), categorized adequate 15 (10.2%), and good 108 (73.9%) students, the post-test results showed that all respondents got a good score. The result of the analysis was p 0.000 meant that there was an effect of interactive games on the social development of school age children. Interactive games helped children socialize with peers more optimally because they were more intensive and controlled.

Abstract

Creativity is a trait that dares to break the paradigm so that it can produce something, and can also help children become better at doing various things. The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of making crafts on increasing creativity during the pandemic in students of SMPN 1 Mojoagung Jombang. The design of this study used a one-group pre-post test design. The population in this study were all students of class IX SMPN 1 Mojoagung Jombang as many as 287 students. The sample of this study were all students of class IX F, IX G, IX H, and IX I SMPN 1 Mojoagung Jombang as many as 107 respondents. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire to assess creativity with test results 100% valid and reliable with = 0.798. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Mojoagung Jombang in November 2021. The statistical test used the Wilcoxon Sign Rank test with table = 0.05. The results showed that there was an increase in creativity from 43 (40%) respondents before making crafts. And after making crafts increased to 69 (64%) respondents. Statistical test results = 0.00. it means that there is an effect of making crafts on increasing creativity. Creative thinking is needed to create new ideas in making crafts so that they can produce diverse products. Thus, making handicrafts activities can increase children's creativity.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Tambak Rejo Village has a fairly arid area in the dry season and in areas that are flooded by rivers experiencing flooding in the rainy season. In the dry season the conditions of the settlement are hot because few plants can grow. Only certain plants can flourish in the area. Moringa plants are plants that are easy to plant and also have very good endurance in the event of seasonal changes. Moringa plants which have the Latin name Moringa oleifera can grow up to 7 meters high or even 12 meters tall. Moringa tree in addition to greening on arid land, has many benefits in the field of health both leaves, bark or fruit and seeds. The leaves can be made into useful vegetables to increase endurance and improve the digestive system. The procedure of this community service activity starts from the team coordinating with partners. The implementation begins with coordination with partners to determine the schedule of activities. The socialization of the benefits of moringa oleifera was carried out in Tambak Rejo Village, attended by 68 residents. After the socialization continued with the distribution of Moringa oleifera seeds to the people who attended. The team gave examples of planting and monitored the process of planting moringa oleifera in Tambak Rejo Village. The results of the evaluation of Moringa oleifera plants grow well and are well groomed. Residents have used the leaves for consumption as a daily vegetable menu. The targets of community service are greening on arid land and the use of moringa oleifera to improve public health.

Abstract

Selama masa pademi ini Siswa dituntut untuk belajar meskipun dengan media online (KuLON). Siswa diharapkan tetap mencari informasi terkait pencegahan dan penyebaran COVID-19 yang sedang mewabah. Pemberian informasi bisa di lakukan secara online melalui berbagai media.. Salah satu  cara pemberian informasi yang bisa di gunakan adalah Information Processing Models ( IPM ). Model ini didasari oleh teori belajar kognitif dan berorientasi pada kemampuan peserta didik memproses informasi yang dapat memperbaiki kemampuannya. Model  pembejaran Information Processing Models ( IPM) dimaknai sebagai suatu objek atau konsep yang digunakan untuk merepresentasikan sesuatu hal. Sesuatu yang nyata dan dikonversi untuk sebuah bentuk yang lebih komprehensif, (Rusman. 2014). Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini Membuktikan Efektifitas Information Processing Models ( IPM ) tentang Pencegahan dan Penyebaran COVID- 19 terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan Siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Mojosari. Desain ini menggunakan rancangan pra eksperimen dengan pendekatan pre post test non control group design Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 113 siswa yang meliputi kelas 1,2 dan 3. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Tingkat Pengetahuan siswa sebelum di berikan informasi sebagian besar kurang yaitu 62 orang atau 55% dan berdasarkan hasil Post test setelah berikan informasi sebagian besar cukup yaitu 53 orang atau 47%. Hasil Uji Statistik Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test di dapatkan hasil ? = 0,000 ? = 0,05 sehingga ? ? berarti H1 diterima yang berarti Ada Pengaruh Information Processing Models (IPM) tentang Pencegahan dan Penyebaran COVID- 19 terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan siswa, Semakin baik pengetahuan siswa tentang pencegahan dan penyebaran COVID- 19 maka dapat meningkatkan prilaku kesehatan siswa.

Abstract

Guru, tenaga kependidikan, dan siswa harus patuh menjalankan protokol kesehatan sebagai upaya pencegahan covid 19. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman mitra melalui penyuluhan tentang cara membuat tempat cuci tangan dari bambu. Kegiatan pengbdian ini dilaksanakan dengan cara Pre test dan analisis hasil pre test, Pemberian penyuluhan, mitra mempraktikkan dan membuat tempat cuci tangan dari bambu, kemudian mitra menyediakan tempat cuci tangan dari bambu dirumah, dan Post test. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pengetahuan mitra meningkat menjadi 86 (80%), kemampuan membuat tempat cuci tangan dari bambu sangat sesuai sebanyak 88 (82%), dan tersedianya tempat cuci tangan dari bambu dirumah masing- masing sebanyak 87 (81%).

Abstract

Development in communication technology such as smartphones and the internet are able to easily solve all information needs. However, there are many misuses of the sophistication of these tools by many children. This study aimed to determine the impact of using gadgets on learning motivation and children's social development at Islamic Elementary School Yaabunayya Mojokerto. The design of the study used cross-sectional analysis. The population was all students at Islamic Elementary School Yaabunayya with a total of 146 children. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the inclusion criteria of children in grades two to six who were willing to be researched with the consent of their parents.  Samples that meet the inclusion criteria were 85 respondents. The instruments used were the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) and Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS). Data analysis used the Spearman Rho test. The results of the analysis found that there was a correlation between the duration of using gadgets and the social development of children with a ρ value (0.013). Children who don’t play with gadgets tend to look for playmates who can improve social development. The results of the study there is no correlation between the duration of gadget use and learning motivation in children with a ρ value (0.095). This is because children use gadgets to get lots of interesting lessons on the internet. For this reason, parents are expected to always accompany their children in using gadgets.
