Abstract

This study uses the weighting approach to evaluate decision-making strategies in order to rank the importance of the traits that a leader must have in order for the Cadet Regiment Commander to create a transformational leadership model. A decision support system's weighted sum or simple weighting method can be applied to issue solving through the use of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). This kind of research is called mixed method, since it uses a survey methodology along with qualitative and descriptive quantitative research methods. The author, who is actively engaged in the research, is the research instrument in and of himself. The purpose of this study is to determine the respondents by means of a purposive technique, in which information for research objectives will only come from specific individuals or parties. The study's findings should determine which leader qualities are most important for creating a transformational leadership model. This will be done by applying the SAW method, which is based on five weighting criteria for transformational leadership: motivation and traits, knowledge, skills, and abilities, organizational culture, vision, and vision implementation. Of the five characteristics of the leader, motivation and traits are the criteria that are the top priority to be developed based on the respondents' assessment with a value of 22.3%. Where a leader must have the ability to achieve, ambition, persistence, passion, initiative, have leadership motivation and have the values of honesty/integrity, confidence, originality, creativity and flexibility/adaptability needed to set an example, encourage and motivate other cadets towards achieving the vision of the organization. Followed by weighting on other criteria such as knowledge, skills, and abilities at 20.5%, organizational culture at 18.8%, vision at 19.5%, and vision implementation at 18.9%.

Abstract

Fires in transport terminals are a serious threat that can cause material loss, physical damage, and risk loss of life. Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International and Domestic Terminal is one of the most important transport hubs, serving thousands of visitors every day. It is important for tenant employees operating within these terminals to have adequate knowledge in fire emergency management. The purpose of the study is to ascertain how tenant employee knowledge affects the management of fire emergencies at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali airport's domestic and international terminals. This study uses a type of quantitative research using the method of distributing research questionnaires through google form with tested using IBM SPSS version 25. The research sample was drawn using probability sampling technique by adding a margin of error of 5% to obtain a sample of 50 people. The results obtained Partially, the knowledge of tenant employees has a significant influence on overcoming fire emergencies, with a determination value of 0.613 or in the form of a percentage of 61.3%, and obtaining a significant value of 0.000

Abstract

The training effectiveness is an assessment of degree to which training can enhance knowledge, skills, and attitudes of participants in alignment with the training objectives. Furthermore, assessing training effectiveness also encompassed evaluating the training program itself. The aim of this study is to investigate effectiveness of Aerodrome Controller Refresher Training in order to maintain competency of Aerodrome Controllers. CIPRL (context, input, process, reaction, and learning) was an evaluation model used in this study. Variables assessed in the context were policies and training objectives. Variables assessed in the input were training materials and training facilities. Variable assessed in the process was the training process, consists of training preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Variable assessed in the reaction was the satisfaction of training participants. Finally, variable assessed in the learning was the score of the training participants. The results of this study were indicated that all variables investigated align with established standards, leading to conclusion that the training has been carried out effectively and has successfully met the goal. To maintain the competency of aerodrome controllers was the primary goal of this training. Some recommendations were provided to enhance the effectiveness of Aerodrome Controllers Training.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is a highly engaging active learning model that fosters increased student participation and enhances their problem-solving abilities. Automatic voice recorder design was an output of PjBL undertaken by students in the Air Navigation Engineering diploma four years program, especially in the aviation communication equipment course. One of the learning outcomes of this course is being able to design aviation communication equipment, such as voice recorder. The method used in designing an automatic voice recorder was DDR from Richey and Klein, which consists of design, development and evaluation stages. The results of an automatic voice recorder design trails can be concluded that the design has worked well, but does not fully meet the technical specifications of voice recorder for VHF Air-Ground communication transceiver, including storage capacity, non-interfering playback operations, and accuracy of recording time. The assessment results of the PjBL indicate that all students have successfully attained one of the specified learning outcomes in the aviation communication equipment course, particularly in the area of voice recorder design. This achievement will ultimately contribute to the enhancement of students' skills in designing aeronautical telecommunication facilities.
