Abstract

Abstract: Teaching methods are the methods a teacher uses to relate Bible truths to his students. It cannot be denied that the effectiveness of teaching is largely determined by the methods used in communicating the lessons that have been prepared. Teachers should not ignore Jesus' teaching method in the teaching process because it is Jesus' teaching method that can provide growth in students' spirituality. Jesus' teaching methods were stories, lecture methods, discussion methods and question and answer methods. The purpose of the learning carried out by Jesus was for His disciples to know their Father in heaven personally and believe that Jesus is the only way of salvation (John 14:6-14) and to be able to lead other people to the path of salvation that has been found in Jesus Christ. Another goal is for every student to become a witness to Christ in words and behavior so that he becomes salt and light in the world (Matthew 5:13). Abstrak: Metode mengajar adalah metode yang dipakai seorang guru untuk menghubungkan kebenaran Alkitab dengan para muridnya. Tak dapat disangkal bahwa efektivitas suatu pengajaran sangat ditentukan oleh metode yang dipakai dalam usaha mengkomunikasikan pelajaran yang sudah dipersiapkan. Metode mengajar Yesus tidak boleh diabaikan oleh guru dalam proses mengajar karena metode mengajar Yesuslah yang dapat memberi pertumbuhan bagi spiritualitas siswa. Metode mengajar Yesus yaitu cerita, metode ceramah, metode diskusi dan metode tanya jawab. tujuan pembelajaran yang dilakukan Yesus adalah agar murid-murid-Nya mengenal Bapa di sorga secara pribadi dan meyakini bahwa hanya Yesus satu-satunya jalan keselamatan (Yohanes 14:6-14) serta dapat membawa orang lain kepada jalan keselamatan yang telah ditemukan di dalam Yesus Kristus. Tujuan lain yaitu agar setiap murid menjadi saksi kristus dalam perkataan dan tingkah laku sehingga menjadi garam dan terang dunia (Matius 5:13).

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of religious-based violence in radicalism content on social media, especially the YouTube platform throughout 2023-2024. This article uses qualitative research with a library approach as a data collection technique that will analyze YouTube content related to religious violence in radicalism content and is supported by reference sources, namely journals, books, Google Scholar, and Semantic Scholar. The rise of content with extreme religious narratives raises concerns about the potential for conflict and social polarization. Through in-depth analysis, this study found that religion should be understood as a social system that contains collective values, where the concept of the Kingdom of God is the basis that emphasizes love and peace. This serves to distinguish between true religious teachings and deviant interpretations that can be used to justify violence. This finding also underlines the importance of viewing religion as a tool for peace that can encourage dialogue and mutual understanding between religious communities, not as a source of violence or conflict. This study emphasizes that implementing a comprehensive understanding of religion in modern public spaces, such as social media, is an important step to reduce the spread of radicalism. It is hoped that this effort can build collective awareness of the importance of prioritizing universal and peaceful religious values, so that society can work together to create a public space that is safe, harmonious, and free from the threat of religious-based violence.
