Abstract

Effective school is a strong relationship between what has been formulated to be done and the results achieved by the school. Educational units need to have a clear and measurable vision, mission, goals, and objectives (VMTS). However, not all components of the education unit or stakeholders have the same understanding of the VMTS. This article discusses an experiment to equalize the understanding of VMTS to achieve effective schools through coaching methods with teachers who interact directly with students. Through the application of coaching methods, teachers feel more comfortable and easier to receive information on formal topics such as VMTS. After 2 weeks of implementation, there are developments in teacher administration in learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem faced by partners is the lack of innovation in designing learning in the classroom so that it seems boring and monotonous. This can have an impact on students' interest and motivation in participating in learning. So there is a need to increase teachers' creativity and innovation in designing learning, especially designing learning that is tailored to the needs of students. Therefore, teacher competency development is designed through the Learning Community. The purpose of this activity is to improve teachers' competence in designing differentiated learning based on the sharing of experience and knowledge among fellow educators. The teacher behavior experienced by students after the KomBel training showed that most of the teachers had shown a medium category, namely 5 teachers (45.6%), and there were 5 teachers (45.6%) who had shown a high category. Meanwhile, those who are still in the low category are 1 teacher (8.8%). This shows that there has been an increase in teacher behavior after being given training through KomBel.

Abstract

Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) can take place optimally if the learning environment is able to support students to explore their potential. This is in line with the statement that education must equip students with the ability to think critically and prepare them for the global challenges of the future. The principal of the school/madrasah has a role as a leader who prepares and implements programs in the context of optimal utilization of school resources. Based on the findings of the research of SD N Kalongan 03 in realizing a safe, comfortable and inclusive learning environment, it is carried out with cooperation between teachers and principals through chain briefing efforts.
