Abstract

This Classroom Action Research was conducted with the aim of determining the improvement of gross motor skills in children by implementing the bull racing game through the PTK classroom action research method in grade III students at SD NENGRI PAKIS 1/368 SURABAYA, Jl Pakis Tirtosari VIII/14, Sawahan District. This study used two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The data collection techniques used were tests, documentation, and observation. This study used the PTK method to improve gross motor skills in children in the bull racing game of grade III students at SD NENGRI PAKIS 1/368 SURABAYA, Jl Pakis Tirtosari VIII/14, Sawahan District. From the results of the study, there was an increase in the results of motor tests in children from cycle I to cycle II, both from the improvement of gross motor skills in children. The completion of learning outcomes in cycle I was (63%) and in cycle II (96%), so that the increase from cycle I to cycle II was (33%).

Abstract

Pendidikan tidak hanya terfokus pada aspek akademis, tetapi juga pada pengembangan karakter melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, seperti olahraga. Di SMK Negeri 3 Buduran, partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga masih rendah. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan variasi tingkat motivasi siswa, dimana Ramadhani (2023) menemukan motivasi kategori rendah (37%), Ardiansyah (2019) kategori sedang (53,3%), dan Muhammad Sahroni (2021) kategori baik (79%). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan memetakan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei terhadap 143 siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler olahraga. Instrumen berupa angket yang mengukur motivasi intrinsik (kesehatan, perhatian, minat, bakat) dan ekstrinsik (metode pengajaran, alat/bahan ajar, kondisi lingkungan), dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata motivasi intrinsik 3,23 (kategori Tinggi), motivasi ekstrinsik 3,34 (Sangat Tinggi), dan motivasi total 3,28 (Sangat Tinggi). Temuan ini lebih tinggi dibanding Ramadhani (2023) dan Ardiansyah (2019), namun sejalan dengan Muhammad Sahroni (2021), mengindikasikan bahwa konteks sekolah dan kualitas pembinaan berperan penting dalam membentuk motivasi. Implikasi praktisnya, sekolah dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dengan mengoptimalkan pengelolaan program, sarana prasarana, dan iklim lingkungan yang suportif.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is learning that provides flexibility and is able to accommodate students' needs to increase their potential according to students' different learning needs, interests and learning profiles. The aim of this research is to improve learning outcomes for forward roll by implementing differentiated learning in PJOK subjects. This research uses a classroom action research method carried out in two cycles starting from pre-cycle activities. Each cycle is carried out starting from planning, implementation, observation, evaluation and reflection activities. This research was conducted at SMPN 28 Surabaya in class VII-E with a total of 34 research subjects. The research instrument uses an assessment of the skill aspect in the floor exercise material, namely the front roll. Using an assessment rubric sheet with an assessment grid that has a KKM score of 80 which is the student's learning completeness. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics and percentage results test. As for the results of the pre-cycle research, 4 students (12%) completed 30 students (88%) with an average score of 61.6. In cycle I there was an increase with the number of 14 students (41%) completing and 20 students (59%) not completing with an average score of 76.6. In cycle II there were 32 students (94%) who completed, 2 students (6%) did not complete with an average score of 84.3. It can be concluded that the differentiation learning strategy can improve student learning outcomes related to forward rolling in floor exercise.
