Abstract

Anemia is a type of health disorder that has an indirect impact on human productivity. Apart from poor food intake, anemia is also caused by parasitic infections. As a result of a lack of hemoglobin levels, it causes symptoms of lethargy, weakness and fatigue when carrying out activities which will have an impact on decreasing concentration and learning achivement, and in the long term will have an impact on the quality of human resources, where children are the future generation of the nation who will later to support determining the next generation. The aim of carrying is to provide community service efforts in order to increase students’ knowledge about nutrition, selecting nutritional sources to prevent anemia. This activity took place on 29 September 2023 at SD N 100723 Aek Ngadol Village. This activity was attended by 30 students accompained by teachers. Activities are carried out using the lecture method, question and answer disqussions. The evaluation results show increase in students’ knowledge about nutrition, eating patterns that can prevent anemia and choosing nutrinional sources. Anemia merupakan jenis gangguan kesehatan yang memiliki dampak secara tidak langsung pada produktivitas manusia. Selain karena intake makanan yang kurang baik, anemia juga disebabkan oleh infeksi parasit. Akibat dari kekurangan kadar hemoglobin menimbulkan gejala lesu, lemah letih dan cepat lelah saat melakukan aktivitas yang akan berdampak menurunnya konstentrasi serta prestasi belajar, dan pada jangka panjang akan berdampak pada kualitas sumber daya manusia, dimana anak-anak merupakan generasi masa depan bangsa yang nantinya akan mendukung menentukan generasi berikutnya.Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini untuk upaya pengabdian masyarakat dalam rangka untuk peningkatan pengetahuan siswa tentang pengetahuan tentang gizi, pemilihan sumber gizi untuk mencegah anemia. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada tanggal 29 september 2023 di SDN 100723 Desa Aek Ngadol. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 peserta didik dengan didampingi bapak/ibu guru. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi tanya jawab. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa tentang gizi, pola makan yang dapat mencegah anemia dan pemilihan sumber gizi.

Abstract

The immunization given to women of childbearing age and pregnant women is the TT immunization which is useful for preventing tetanus. Cases of tetanus are often found in a number of tropical countries and countries that still have low health conditions. This study aims to describe the knowledge of pregnant women about TT immunization. Immunization is giving the body immunity against a disease by putting something into the body so that the body is resistant to diseases that are epidemic or dangerous to someone. Cases of tetanus are often found in a number of tropical countries and countries that still have low health conditions. The method in this research is descriptive. The population in the study were all pregnant women in the village of Sabahotang as many as 42 people. There were 42 samples in this study using a total sampling technique. The results showed that 26 people (61.9%) had insufficient knowledge, 4 people (9.5%) had sufficient knowledge and 12 people (28.6%) had good knowledge. It is hoped that pregnant women and those closest to them are given an understanding of the benefits of getting TT immunization in pregnant women by health workers

Abstract

Pemberian ASI sangat penting bagi tumbuh kembang yang optimal baik fisik maupun mental dan kecerdasan bayi, Produksi ASI yang tidak cukup merupakan faktor penghambat yang paling umum menyebabkan berhentinya produksi ASI. Salah satu upaya meningkatkan produksi ASI adalah melalui penggunaan obat tradisional dalam bentuk rebusan dan ekstrak daun bangun-bangun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh daun bangun-bagun terhadap peningkatan produksi air susu ibu (ASI) pada ibu menyusui di Desa Batang Pane II Kecamatan Halongonan Timur. Jenis Penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan desain Eksperimen semu (Quasi eksperimen), Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Batang Pane II Adapun Alasan pemilihan lokasi ini karena belum pernah dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh konsumsi seduhan air rebusan daun bangun-bangun terhadap produksi ASI untuk ibu menyusui. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu menyusui 0-6 bulan sebanyak 18 orang. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dimana seluruh jumlah populasi di jadikan sampel sebanyak 18 orang, Setelah dilakukan uji menggunakan uji Paired t-tes diperoleh Pvalue = 0,020 (p<0,05), maka dapat diambil kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh konsumsi seduhan air rebusan daun bangun-bangun terhadap produksi ASI untuk ibu menyusui. Disarankan ibu menyusui dapat mengkonsumsi daun bangunbangun untuk menambah volume ASI nya sesuai takaran dan dosis yang dianjurkan. Breastfeeding is very important for optimal growth and development, both physically and mentally and baby's intelligence. Insufficient milk production is the most common inhibiting factor causing the cessation of breast milk production. One of the efforts to increase breast milk production is through the use of traditional medicine in the form of decoction and extracts of the leaves of Bangun-bangun. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the leaves of the leaves on increasing the production of breast milk (ASI) in breastfeeding mothers in Batang Pane II Village, East Halongonan District. The type of research used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design (quasi-experimental). This research was conducted in the village of Batang Pane II. The reason for choosing this location is because there has never been a study on the effect of consuming boiled water from the leaves of the wake on the milk production for breastfeeding mothers. The population in this study were all breastfeeding mothers 0-6 months as many as 18 people. The sampling technique used total sampling where the entire population was sampled as many as 18 people. After testing using the Paired t-test, it was obtained that P value = 0.020 (p <0.05), it can be concluded that there is an effect of consuming boiled water from the leaves of the wake -wakes up to milk production for nursing mothers. It is recommended that breastfeeding mothers can consume Bangunbangun leaves to increase the volume of their breast milk according to the recommended dose and dosage.
