Abstract

Kebangkitan Partai Keadilan dan Pembangunan (AKP) di Turki mencerminkan transformasi besar dalam lanskap politik negara tersebut, terutama dalam kaitannya dengan hubungan antara Islam politik, sekularisme, dan demokrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mendorong dominasi politik AKP serta dampaknya terhadap sistem ketatanegaraan di Turki. Menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber akademik yang relevan dan dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan kuat terhadap AKP berasal dari kelompok konservatif dan kelas menengah Muslim yang tumbuh pasca liberalisasi ekonomi. Di bawah kepemimpinan Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, AKP berhasil mengonsolidasikan kekuasaan dengan mengusung ideologi konservatif-demokrat dan agenda pembangunan ekonomi. Namun, seiring waktu, partai ini juga menunjukkan kecenderungan otoriter yang ditandai dengan sentralisasi kekuasaan, pembatasan kebebasan pers, dan penyalahgunaan simbol keagamaan untuk kepentingan politik. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan AKP tidak lepas dari konteks sosial-ekonomi dan strategi politik yang adaptif, namun juga memunculkan tantangan serius bagi prinsip-prinsip demokrasi dan sekularisme yang telah lama menjadi fondasi republik Turki. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami dinamika politik Islam kontemporer dan relevansinya dalam konteks negara sekuler yang mayoritas penduduknya beragama Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character teachers in fostering students' religious moderation through Islamic Spirituality (Rohis) activities at SMA Negeri 1 Purwokerto. The background of this research is rooted in the urgency of strengthening the values of religious moderation among high school students, especially in the midst of rapid information flow and the emergence of extreme religious understandings that may influence students' perspectives. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The findings reveal that PAI and Character teachers act as educators, spiritual mentors, facilitators of activities, and role models (uswah hasanah) in internalizing moderation values, including tolerance (tasamuh), balance (tawazun), and fairness (i'tidal). The implementation of religious moderation is carried out through regular Islamic studies, worship habituation, social service activities, and Rohis programs involving collaboration with various student organizations. These activities effectively enhance students' moderate attitudes, reflected in their increased tolerance, openness, and harmonious interactions among peers of different religious backgrounds. This study highlights the strategic role of PAI teachers in shaping students' moderate, inclusive, and nationally oriented religious character.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of multiple intelligences (MI)-based problem-solving strategies in Fiqh learning for Grade VII students at MTs Ma’arif Rakit Banjarnegara. The research responds to a persistent epistemological gap in Islamic pedagogy, where conventional Fiqh instruction emphasizes textual memorization and deductive reasoning at the expense of student engagement and critical reflection. Such practices constrain students’ capacity to relate Islamic jurisprudence to contemporary moral and social realities. Adopting a qualitative descriptive design informed by an interpretivist approach, data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that MI-based problem-solving transforms learning processes by positioning students as active interpreters of religious meaning. Learning unfolded through four interrelated stages problem identification, argument analysis, practical application, and reflective evaluation each aligned with distinct domains of intelligence such as linguistic, logical, kinesthetic, and interpersonal. Thematic coding and triangulated validation indicated consistent patterns of increased participation, dialogical reasoning, and spiritual self-awareness across learning contexts. Analytically, the study advances an interpretive model of constructivist Islamic pedagogy, demonstrating how the integration of MI and problem-solving can reconfigure epistemic practices in Fiqh learning. This model contributes new insight into how differentiated intelligence frameworks can operationalize reflective, value-oriented learning consistent with the transformative aims of the Merdeka Curriculum.
