Abstract

Penelitian ini dibuat dengan adanya tujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam menerapkan tutor sebaya dengan media bahan ajar multimodal pada materi operasi bilangan bulat dalam proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Adapun dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yaitu metode pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data hasil belajar mahasiswa pada operasi bilangan bulat yang dikumpulkan pada saat pretest dan posttest. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan ditelah secara statistik deskriptif dan uji efektivitas menggunakan uji N-Gain. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan sebelum dan sesudahnya dilakukan penerapan tutor sebaya di dalam kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan jumlah ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 72,15%, terjadi peningkatan nilai minimum dan maksimum dari 7 menjadi 15 dan dari 85 menjadi 100 serta terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 46,75 dengan nilai N Gain sebesar 0,67 (0,67%). Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran tutor sebaya dengan media bahan ajar multimodal bulat cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong materi operasi bilangan bulat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using the Wordwall application as a learning medium in bilingual-based algebra mathematics learning at SD YPK 2 Immanuel Kampung Baru. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data obtained through observation, documentation, and interactive quizzes. The research process included the preparation of bilingual materials, the implementation of learning using Wordwall, and data collection. The results showed that Wordwall was effective in increasing students' motivation, engagement, and understanding of algebra material. Based on the quiz results, active male and active female students showed high engagement and good understanding of algebra and English. Meanwhile, moderately active students, both male and female, showed moderate engagement with some obstacles in English mastery. The findings also revealed that the visual and audio features in Wordwall helped students with diverse language abilities to remain actively involved. This study concluded that the integration of gamification-based technology, such as Wordwall, can be an innovative approach to improving the quality of learning in the digital era.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study investigates the effectiveness of integrating YouTube learning videos with Quizizz-based evaluation in supporting senior high school students’ interest and achievement in Linear Programming. The research applied a quantitative method using a One-Shot Case Study design. In this approach, students first accessed instructional material through YouTube videos and then completed an online assessment through the Quizizz platform. The participants were selected purposively from students who had previously studied the topic of Linear Programming to ensure that the instructional materials were relevant to their prior understanding. The data consisted of students’ scores obtained from the Quizizz evaluation, which were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques to describe the level of students’ learning performance. The results reveal that the use of YouTube-based instruction did not significantly improve students’ learning interest or academic outcomes. This condition can be observed from the evaluation scores, which remained relatively low after the learning intervention. The findings suggest that the use of YouTube videos as the primary instructional resource alone is not sufficient to maximize learning effectiveness. Therefore, additional instructional support, such as teacher guidance or the incorporation of more interactive learning strategies, is recommended to improve students’ learning performance.
